From the outset, if that (planet) is situated in a trine (trikoṇa), or in a benefic (sign/house) (saumye), or if it is the cause of auspicious houses (śubhabhāvahetu), and if the planetary period (daśā) commences in an auspicious zodiacal sign (śubharāśi), then that daśā will be exceedingly auspicious.
