महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-103, verse-97

अर्जुन उवाच ।
शिखण्डी निधनं कृष्ण भीष्मस्य भविता ध्रुवम् ।
दृष्ट्वैव हि सदा भीष्मः पाञ्चाल्यं विनिवर्तते ॥९७॥
97. arjuna uvāca ,
śikhaṇḍī nidhanaṁ kṛṣṇa bhīṣmasya bhavitā dhruvam ,
dṛṣṭvaiva hi sadā bhīṣmaḥ pāñcālyaṁ vinivartate.
97. arjuna uvāca śikhaṇḍī nidhanam kṛṣṇa bhīṣmasya bhavitā
dhruvam dṛṣṭvā eva hi sadā bhīṣmaḥ pāñcālyam vinivartate
97. arjuna uvāca: kṛṣṇa! śikhaṇḍī bhīṣmasya nidhanam dhruvam
bhavitā hi bhīṣmaḥ pāñcālyam dṛṣṭvā eva sadā vinivartate
97. Arjuna said: "O Kṛṣṇa, Śikhaṇḍin will certainly be the death of Bhīṣma. For as soon as Bhīṣma sees Pāñcālya (Śikhaṇḍin), he always retreats."
