महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-103, verse-29

हनिष्यामि रणे भीष्ममाहूय पुरुषर्षभम् ।
पश्यतां धार्तराष्ट्राणां यदि नेच्छति फल्गुनः ॥२९॥
29. haniṣyāmi raṇe bhīṣmamāhūya puruṣarṣabham ,
paśyatāṁ dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṁ yadi necchati phalgunaḥ.
29. haniṣyāmi raṇe bhīṣmam āhūya puruṣarṣabham
paśyatām dhārtarāṣṭrāṇām yadi na icchati phālgunaḥ
29. yadi phālgunaḥ na icchati,
[tataḥ] raṇe puruṣarṣabham bhīṣmam āhūya dhārtarāṣṭrāṇām paśyatām [aham] haniṣyāmi.
29. I will slay Bhīṣma, that foremost of men (puruṣarṣabham), in battle, challenging him, while the Dhārtarāṣṭras watch, if Phālguna (Arjuna) does not desire to do so.
