महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-103, verse-30

यदि भीष्मे हते राजञ्जयं पश्यसि पाण्डव ।
हन्तास्म्येकरथेनाद्य कुरुवृद्धं पितामहम् ॥३०॥
30. yadi bhīṣme hate rājañjayaṁ paśyasi pāṇḍava ,
hantāsmyekarathenādya kuruvṛddhaṁ pitāmaham.
30. yadi bhīṣme hate rājan jayam paśyasi pāṇḍava
hantā asmi ekarathena adya kuruvṛddham pitāmaham
30. rājan pāṇḍava yadi bhīṣme hate jayam paśyasi,
[tarhi] adya ekarathena kuruvṛddham pitāmaham hantā asmi.
30. O King, O Pāṇḍava, if you foresee victory once Bhīṣma is slain, then I shall, today, with a single chariot, kill the elder of the Kurus, the Grandsire (Bhīṣma).
