महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-103, verse-18

सोऽहमेवं गते कृष्ण निमग्नः शोकसागरे ।
आत्मनो बुद्धिदौर्बल्याद्भीष्ममासाद्य संयुगे ॥१८॥
18. so'hamevaṁ gate kṛṣṇa nimagnaḥ śokasāgare ,
ātmano buddhidaurbalyādbhīṣmamāsādya saṁyuge.
18. saḥ aham evam gate kṛṣṇa nimagnaḥ śokasāgare
ātmanaḥ buddhi-daurbalyāt bhīṣmam āsādya saṃyuge
18. kṛṣṇa evam gate saḥ aham ātmanaḥ buddhi-daurbalyāt
saṃyuge bhīṣmam āsādya śokasāgare nimagnaḥ
18. O Krishna, as things have come to this pass, I am plunged into an ocean of sorrow, having encountered Bhishma in battle due to my own weakness of intellect (buddhidaurbalya).
