महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-103, verse-4

सोमकांश्च जितान्दृष्ट्वा निरुत्साहान्महारथान् ।
चिन्तयित्वा चिरं ध्यात्वा अवहारमरोचयत् ॥४॥
4. somakāṁśca jitāndṛṣṭvā nirutsāhānmahārathān ,
cintayitvā ciraṁ dhyātvā avahāramarocayat.

4. Having seen the Somakas and the great charioteers (of the Pandava side) defeated and disheartened, and having reflected and meditated for a long time, he (Yudhishthira) decided upon a withdrawal.
