Indeed, the goddesses Siddhi (Success) and Dhṛti (Steadfastness) were the mothers of the five (Pandavas), while Kuntī and Mādrī were born (as their human counterparts). Matī (Intelligence) was born as the daughter of Subala (Gāndhārī).
