महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-61, verse-41

बलवीर इति ख्यातो यस्त्वासीदसुरोत्तमः ।
पौण्ड्रमत्स्यक इत्येव स बभूव नराधिपः ॥४१॥
41. balavīra iti khyāto yastvāsīdasurottamaḥ ,
pauṇḍramatsyaka ityeva sa babhūva narādhipaḥ.
41. balavīraḥ iti khyātaḥ yaḥ tu āsīt asura-uttamaḥ
pauṇḍramatsyakaḥ iti eva saḥ babhūva narādhipaḥ
41. The one who was the foremost among the Asuras, known as Balavīra, indeed became a king by the name of Pauṇḍramatsyaka.
