महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-61, verse-30

चन्द्रस्तु दितिजश्रेष्ठो लोके ताराधिपोपमः ।
ऋषिको नाम राजर्षिर्बभूव नृपसत्तमः ॥३०॥
30. candrastu ditijaśreṣṭho loke tārādhipopamaḥ ,
ṛṣiko nāma rājarṣirbabhūva nṛpasattamaḥ.

30. O best among kings, Candra, the foremost among the Dānavas (demons), who was like the lord of stars in the world, was born as the royal sage named Ṛṣika.
