महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-45, verse-45

गङ्गा कमण्डलुं दिव्यममृतोद्भवमुत्तमम् ।
ददौ प्रीत्या कुमाराय दण्डं चैव बृहस्पतिः ॥४५॥
45. gaṅgā kamaṇḍaluṁ divyamamṛtodbhavamuttamam ,
dadau prītyā kumārāya daṇḍaṁ caiva bṛhaspatiḥ.
45. gaṅgā kamaṇḍalum divyam amṛta-udbhavam uttamam
| dadau prītyā kumārāya daṇḍam ca eva bṛhaspatiḥ
45. gaṅgā divyam amṛta-udbhavam uttamam kamaṇḍalum
dadau bṛhaspatiḥ ca eva prītyā kumārāya daṇḍam dadau
45. Gaṅgā gave a divine, excellent water-pot (kamaṇḍalu), which arose from nectar. And Bṛhaspati, with affection, gave a staff to the Kumāra.
