महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-33, verse-83

त्वरमाणश्च भीरुश्च लुब्धः कामी च ते दश ।
तस्मादेतेषु भावेषु न प्रसज्जेत पण्डितः ॥८३॥
83. tvaramāṇaśca bhīruśca lubdhaḥ kāmī ca te daśa ,
tasmādeteṣu bhāveṣu na prasajjeta paṇḍitaḥ.

tasmāt eteṣu bhāveṣu na prasajjeta paṇḍitaḥ
83. The impulsive, the timid, the greedy, and the lustful—these are among the ten (types of undesirable dispositions). Therefore, a wise person should not become attached to these states.
