योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-126, verse-92

स्मरणं विद्धि संकल्पं शिवमस्मरणं विदुः ।
तत्र प्रागनुभूतं च नानुभूतं च भाव्यते ॥ ९२ ॥
smaraṇaṃ viddhi saṃkalpaṃ śivamasmaraṇaṃ viduḥ ,
tatra prāganubhūtaṃ ca nānubhūtaṃ ca bhāvyate 92
92. smaraṇam viddhi saṃkalpam śivam asmaraṇam viduḥ
tatra prāk anubhūtam ca na anubhūtam ca bhāvyate
92. smaraṇam saṃkalpam viddhi; asmaraṇam śivam viduḥ.
tatra prāk anubhūtam ca anubhūtam na ca bhāvyate.
92. Know that remembrance (smaraṇa) is conceptualization (saṃkalpa); the wise know non-remembrance (asmaraṇa) to be auspicious (śivam). In conceptualization (saṃkalpa), both what has been previously experienced and what has not been experienced are imagined (bhāvyate).
