योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-126, verse-88

मनागभ्युदितैवेच्छा छेत्तव्यानर्थकारिणी ।
असंवेदनशस्त्रेण विषस्येवाङ्कुरावली ॥ ८८ ॥

88. manāk abhyuditā eva icchā chettavyā anarthakāriṇī
asaṃvedanaśastreṇa viṣasya iva aṅkurāvalī
88. manāk abhyuditā eva anarthakāriṇī icchā asaṃvedanaśastreṇa viṣasya aṅkurāvalī iva chettavyā.
88. Even a slightly arisen desire, which causes harm, must be cut off with the weapon of non-perception (asaṃvedana), just like a row of poison sprouts.
