योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-126, verse-54

कर्तव्यमाचरन्काममकर्तव्यमनाचरन् ।
तिष्ठति प्राकृताचारो यः स आर्य इति स्मृतः ॥ ५४ ॥

54. yaḥ kartavyam kāmam ācaran akartavyam anācaran prākṛtācāraḥ tiṣṭhati,
saḥ āryaḥ iti smṛtaḥ

54. That person who willingly performs what ought to be done and refrains from what ought not to be done, living with conduct aligned with their intrinsic nature (prakṛti), is remembered as noble.
