भूमिकांशानुसारेण क्षीयते पूर्वदुष्कृतम् ।
ततः सुरविमानेषु लोकपालपुरेषु च ॥ ४८ ॥

tataḥ suravimāneṣu lokapālapureṣu ca 48

tataḥ sura-vimāneṣu loka-pāla-pureṣu ca ||

48. bhūmikāṃśānusāreṇa pūrva-duṣkṛtam kṣīyate tataḥ
sura-vimāneṣu ca loka-pāla-pureṣu (ramaṇam bhavati)

48. According to the extent of the spiritual stages (bhūmikā), one's accumulated past negative actions (karma) are diminished. Thereafter, (one enjoys) in the celestial vehicles (vimāna) of the gods and in the cities of the world-guardians (lokapāla).
