तैलबिन्दुरिवादर्शे विश्राम्यत्युपदेशवाक् ।
असंवेदनमात्रेण नोदेतीच्छाभवाङ्कुरः ॥ ८७ ॥

87. Like a drop of oil on a mirror, the words of instruction (upadeśavāk) settle (in the mind). Merely by the absence of perception, the sprout of desire and rebirth (icchābhavāṅkura) does not arise.
