Dhritarashtra said: 'O Sanjaya, the preceptor's son (Aśvatthāman) is worthy of honor and also very powerful. He also possesses affection (prīti) for Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) and is dear to the son of Vasava (Arjuna).'
