शरतेजोऽभिसंतप्ता नागा भूमिशयास्तथा ।
निःश्वसन्तः समुत्पेतुस्तेजो घोरं मुमुक्षवः ॥२०॥

niḥśvasantaḥ samutpetustejo ghoraṁ mumukṣavaḥ.

20. And the serpents (nāgāḥ), tormented by the heat of the arrows and lying on the ground, rose up, hissing, eager to unleash their terrible venom (tejaḥ).
