महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-27, verse-72

अलंकृतास्त्रयो लोकाः पथिभिर्विमलैस्त्रिभिः ।
यस्तु तस्या जलं सेवेत्कृतकृत्यः पुमान्भवेत् ॥७२॥
72. alaṁkṛtāstrayo lokāḥ pathibhirvimalaistribhiḥ ,
yastu tasyā jalaṁ sevetkṛtakṛtyaḥ pumānbhavet.
72. alaṃkṛtāḥ trayaḥ lokāḥ pathibhiḥ vimalaiḥ tribhiḥ
yaḥ tu tasyāḥ jalam sevet kṛtakṛtyaḥ pumān bhavet
72. trayaḥ lokāḥ vimalaiḥ tribhiḥ pathibhiḥ alaṃkṛtāḥ.
tu yaḥ tasyāḥ jalam sevet,
kṛtakṛtyaḥ pumān bhavet.
72. The three worlds are adorned by her three pure, effulgent paths. But he who would partake of her water becomes a man who has accomplished his duty.
