महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-27, verse-3

शयानं वीरशयने कालाकाङ्क्षिणमच्युतम् ।
आजग्मुर्भरतश्रेष्ठं द्रष्टुकामा महर्षयः ॥३॥
3. śayānaṁ vīraśayane kālākāṅkṣiṇamacyutam ,
ājagmurbharataśreṣṭhaṁ draṣṭukāmā maharṣayaḥ.

3. Great sages, desirous of seeing the best of the Bhāratas (Bhīṣma), came to him as he lay on the bed of heroes, waiting for his appointed time, unwavering (acyuta).
