तथा गङ्गावगाढस्य सर्वं पापं प्रधूयते ॥४१॥

O best of brahmins, just as cotton, when it reaches fire, is completely consumed, similarly, all the sin of one who has immersed themselves in the Gaṅgā is burnt away.
