विसोमा इव शर्वर्यो विपुष्पास्तरवो यथा ।
तद्वद्देशा दिशश्चैव हीना गङ्गाजलैः शुभैः ॥३३॥

33. visomā iva śarvaryo vipuṣpāstaravo yathā ,
tadvaddeśā diśaścaiva hīnā gaṅgājalaiḥ śubhaiḥ.

33. vīsomāḥ iva śarvaryaḥ vipuṣpāḥ taravaḥ yathā tadvat
deśāḥ diśaḥ ca eva hīnāḥ gaṅgājalaiḥ śubhaiḥ

33. yathā śarvaryaḥ vīsomāḥ iva,
yathā taravaḥ vipuṣpāḥ,
tadvat deśāḥ ca diśaḥ eva śubhaiḥ gaṅgājalaiḥ hīnāḥ.

33. Just as nights are without the Soma plant and trees are without flowers, similarly, countries and directions are devoid of pure and auspicious Gaṅgā waters.
