जगद्धिताय प्रोक्तानि पुरा यानि पुरारिणा ।
तानि चक्रान्तर्दशाफलानि कथयाम्यहम् ॥१॥
1. jagaddhitāya proktāni purā yāni purāriṇā .

1. I will now narrate the results of the antardaśā (sub-periods) within the Cakra system, which were formerly declared by the enemy of the cities (Śiva) for the welfare of the world.
मेषांशे स्वान्तरे भौमे ज्वरश्च व्रणसम्भवः ।
बुधशुक्रेन्दुजीवेषु सुखं शत्रुभयं रवौ ॥२॥
2. meṣāṃśe svāntare bhaume jvaraśca vraṇasambhavaḥ .
budhaśukrendujīveṣu sukhaṃ śatrubhayaṃ ravau.

2. When Mars is in its own sub-period (antardaśā) within the Aries (Meṣa) division, there will be fever and the possibility of wounds. When Mercury, Venus, Moon, or Jupiter are present (in their sub-periods within the Aries division), there will be happiness. When the Sun is present, there will be fear from enemies.
वृषांशे स्वान्तरे सौरे कलहो रोगसम्भवः ।
विद्यालाभस्तनौ सौख्यं गुरौ तत्र गते फलम् ॥३॥
3. vṛṣāṃśe svāntare saure kalaho rogasambhavaḥ .
vidyālābhastanau saukhyaṃ gurau tatra gate phalam.

3. When Saturn is in its own sub-period (antardaśā) within the Taurus (Vṛṣa) division, there will be quarrel and the possibility of disease. When Jupiter is present there (in its sub-period within the Taurus division), the result is gain of knowledge and happiness for the self/body.
देशत्यागो मृतिर्वापि शस्त्रघातो ज्वरोऽथवा ।
वृषभस्वांशके विप्र कुजे तत्र गते फलम् ॥४॥
4. deśatyāgo mṛtirvāpi śastraghāto jvaro'thavā .
vṛṣabhasvāṃśake vipra kuje tatra gate phalam.
4. deśatyāgaḥ mṛtiḥ vā api śastraghātaḥ jvaraḥ athavā
vṛṣabhasvāṃśake vipra kuje tatra gate phalam
4. O Brahmin, when Mars (Ku-ja) is present in its own sub-period (antardaśā) within the Taurus (Vṛṣabha) division, the result will be abandonment of the country, or even death, or injury from weapons, or fever.
वस्त्राभरणलाभश्च स्त्रीसुयोगो महत् सुखम् ।
शुक्रेन्दुसुतचन्द्रेषु वृषभस्वांशके फलम् ॥५॥
5. vastrābharaṇalābhaśca strīsuyogo mahat sukham .
śukrendusutacandreṣu vṛṣabhasvāṃśake phalam.
5. vastra-ābharaṇa-lābhaḥ ca strī-su-yogaḥ mahat sukham
śukra-indu-suta-candreṣu vṛṣabha-svāṃśake phalam
5. There is a gain of clothes and ornaments, a good association with women, and great happiness. This is the result when Venus (śukra), Mercury (indusuta), and the Moon (candra) are in the Taurus (vṛṣabha) svāṃśaka.
नृपाद् भयं पितृमृतिः स्ववदाद्यैर्भयं रवौ ।
मिथुने स्वांशके शुक्रे धनवस्त्रसमागमः ॥६॥
6. nṛpād bhayaṃ pitṛmṛtiḥ svavadādyairbhayaṃ ravau .
mithune svāṃśake śukre dhanavastrasamāgamaḥ.
6. nṛpāt bhayam pitṛ-mṛtiḥ sva-vat-ādyaiḥ bhayam
ravau mithune svāṃśake śukre dhana-vastra-samāgamaḥ
6. When the Sun (ravi) is in the Gemini (mithuna) svāṃśaka, there is fear from the king (nṛpa), the father's death, and fear from one's own relatives. When Venus (śukra) is in the Gemini (mithuna) svāṃśaka, there is an accumulation of wealth and clothes.
पितृमातृमृतेर्भीतिर्ज्वरश्च व्रणसम्भवः ।
दूरदेशप्रयाणं च मिथुने स्वांशके कुजे ॥७॥
7. pitṛmātṛmṛterbhītirjvaraśca vraṇasambhavaḥ .
dūradeśaprayāṇaṃ ca mithune svāṃśake kuje.
7. pitṛ-mātṛ-mṛteḥ bhītiḥ jvaraḥ ca vraṇa-sambhavaḥ
dūra-deśa-prayāṇam ca mithune svāṃśake kuje
7. When Mars (kuja) is in the Gemini (mithuna) svāṃśaka, there is fear of the death of one's parents, fever, the occurrence of wounds, and travel to distant lands.
बुद्धिविद्याविवृद्धिश्च महाविभवसम्भवः ।
लोके मानश्च प्रीतिश्च मिथेने स्वांशके गुरौ ॥८॥
8. buddhividyāvivṛddhiśca mahāvibhavasambhavaḥ .
loke mānaśca prītiśca mithene svāṃśake gurau.
8. buddhi-vidyā-vivṛddhiḥ ca mahā-vibhava-sambhavaḥ
loke mānaḥ ca prītiḥ ca mithune svāṃśake gurau
8. When Jupiter (guru) is in the Gemini (mithuna) svāṃśaka, there is an increase in intelligence and knowledge, the attainment of great prosperity, and honor and affection in the world.
विदेशगमनं व्याधिर्मरणं धननाशनम् ।
बन्धुनाशोऽथवा विप्र मिथुने स्वांशके शनौ ॥९॥
9. videśagamanaṃ vyādhirmaraṇaṃ dhananāśanam .
bandhunāśo'thavā vipra mithune svāṃśake śanau.
9. videśagamanam vyādhiḥ maraṇam dhananāśanam
bandhunāśaḥ athavā vipra mithune svāṃśake śanau
9. O Brahmin, when Saturn (śani) is in Gemini (Mithuna) and in its own divisional sign (aṃśa), there will be foreign travel, disease, death, loss of wealth, or loss of relatives.
विद्यावस्त्रादिलाभश्च दारपुत्रादिजं सुखम् ।
सर्वत्र मानमाप्नोति मिथुने स्वांशके बुधे ॥१०॥
10. vidyāvastrādilābhaśca dāraputrādijaṃ sukham .
sarvatra mānamāpnoti mithune svāṃśake budhe.
10. vidyāvastrādilābhaḥ ca dāraputrādijam sukham
sarvatra mānam āpnoti mithune svāṃśake budhe
10. When Mercury (budha) is in Gemini (Mithuna) and in its own divisional sign (aṃśa), one obtains gains of education, clothes, and so on, as well as happiness arising from wife and children, and attains respect everywhere.
कर्क स्वांशगते चन्द्रे पुत्रदारसुखं महत् ।
ऐश्वर्यं लभते लोके मानं प्रीतिं तथैव च ॥११॥
11. karka svāṃśagate candre putradārasukhaṃ mahat .
aiśvaryaṃ labhate loke mānaṃ prītiṃ tathaiva ca.

aiśvaryam labhate loke mānam prītim tathaiva ca
11. When the Moon (candra) is in Cancer (Karka) and in its own divisional sign (aṃśa), one obtains great happiness from sons and wife, and attains prosperity (aiśvarya), respect, and affection in the world.
शत्रुभ्यश्च पशुभ्यश्च भयं राजकुलात् तथा ।
आधिव्याधिभयं चैव कर्के स्वांशगते रवौ ॥१२॥
12. śatrubhyaśca paśubhyaśca bhayaṃ rājakulāt tathā .
ādhivyādhibhayaṃ caiva karke svāṃśagate ravau.
12. śatrubhyaḥ ca paśubhyaḥ ca bhayam rājakulāt tathā
ādhivyādhibhayam ca eva karke svāṃśagate ravau
12. When the Sun (ravi) is in Cancer (Karka) and in its own divisional sign (aṃśa), there will be fear from enemies and animals, and likewise from the government (or royal family), and indeed, fear from mental anguish and physical ailments.
पुत्रदारसुहृत्सौख्यं धनवृद्धिस्तथैव च ।
लोके मानं यशश्चैव कर्कांशे बुधशुक्रयोः ॥१३॥
13. putradārasuhṛtsaukhyaṃ dhanavṛddhistathaiva ca .
loke mānaṃ yaśaścaiva karkāṃśe budhaśukrayoḥ.
13. putradārasuhṛtsaukhyam dhanavṛddhiḥ tathā eva ca
loke mānam yaśaḥ ca eva karkāṃśe budhaśukrayoḥ
13. When Mercury and Venus are in the Cancer navāṃśa, one experiences happiness from children, spouse, and friends, an increase in wealth, and indeed, respect and fame in the world.
विषशस्त्रमृतेर्भीतिं ज्वररोगादिसम्भवाम् ।
पीडां चैव समाप्नोति कर्के स्वांशगते कुजे ॥१४॥
14. viṣaśastramṛterbhītiṃ jvararogādisambhavām .
pīḍāṃ caiva samāpnoti karke svāṃśagate kuje.
14. viṣaśastramṛteḥ bhītim jvararogādisambhavām
pīḍām ca eva samāpnoti karke svāṃśagate kuje
14. When Mars is in the Cancer sign and in its own navāṃśa, one indeed experiences fear of death by poison or weapons, and suffering arising from fever, diseases, and similar conditions.
विभवस्यातिलाभश्च शरीरेऽपि सुखं तथा ।
नृपात् सम्मानलाभश्च कर्के स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥१५॥
15. vibhavasyātilābhaśca śarīre'pi sukhaṃ tathā .
nṛpāt sammānalābhaśca karke svāṃśagate gurau.
15. vibhavasya atilābhaḥ ca śarīre api sukham tathā
nṛpāt sammānalābhaḥ ca karke svāṃśagate gurau
15. When Jupiter is in the Cancer sign and in its own navāṃśa, there is abundant gain of prosperity, as well as physical comfort, and the acquisition of honor from rulers.
वादव्याधिभयं घोरं सर्पवृश्चिकतो भयम् ।
नानाकष्टमवाप्नोति कर्के स्वांशगते शनौ ॥१६॥
16. vādavyādhibhayaṃ ghoraṃ sarpavṛścikato bhayam .
nānākaṣṭamavāpnoti karke svāṃśagate śanau.
16. vādavyādhibhayam ghoram sarpavṛścikataḥ bhayam
nānākaṣṭam avāpnoti karke svāṃśagate śanau
16. When Saturn is in the Cancer sign and in its own navāṃśa, one experiences dreadful fear from disputes and diseases, fear from snakes and scorpions, and various other difficulties.
सिंहांशे स्वांशगे भौमे मुखरोगभयं दिशेत् ।
पित्तज्वरकृतां वाधां शस्त्रक्षतमथापि वा ॥१७॥
17. siṃhāṃśe svāṃśage bhaume mukharogabhayaṃ diśet .
pittajvarakṛtāṃ vādhāṃ śastrakṣatamathāpi vā.
17. siṃhāṃśe svāṃśage bhaume mukharogabhayam diśet
pittajvarakṛtām vādhām śastrakṣatam atha api vā
17. If Mars (Bhāuma) is situated in its own varga (svāṃśa) within the Leo (siṃha) sign, one should predict fear of mouth diseases, trouble caused by bilious fever, or even a wound from a weapon.
धनवस्त्रादिलाभश्च स्त्रीपुत्रादिसुखं तथा ।
बुधभार्गवयोर्विप्र सिंहांशे स्वान्तरस्थयोः ॥१८॥
18. dhanavastrādilābhaśca strīputrādisukhaṃ tathā .
budhabhārgavayorvipra siṃhāṃśe svāntarasthayoḥ.
18. dhanavastrādilābhaḥ ca strīputrādisukham tathā
budhabhārgavayoḥ vipra siṃhāṃśe svāntarasthayoḥ
18. O Brāhmaṇa (vipra), when Mercury (Budha) and Venus (Bhārgava) are situated in their own internal divisions within the Leo (siṃha) sign, there will be gain of wealth, clothes, and so on, as well as happiness from one's wife, sons, and so forth.
उच्चात् पतनभीतिश्च स्वल्पद्रव्यसमागमः ।
विदेशगमनं चैव सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते विधौ ॥१९॥
19. uccāt patanabhītiśca svalpadravyasamāgamaḥ .
videśagamanaṃ caiva siṃhe svāntargate vidhau.
19. uccāt patanabhītiḥ ca svalpadravyasāmagamaḥ
videśagamanam ca eva siṃhe svāntargate vidhau
19. And also, when the Moon (Vidhu) is situated in its own internal division within the Leo (siṃha) sign, there will be fear of falling from a height, acquisition of little wealth, and travel to foreign lands.
भयं शत्रुजनेभ्यश्च ज्वरादिव्याद्धिसम्भवः ।
ज्ञानहानिर्मृतेर्भीतिः सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते रवौ ॥२०॥
20. bhayaṃ śatrujanebhyaśca jvarādivyāddhisambhavaḥ .
jñānahānirmṛterbhītiḥ siṃhe svāntargate ravau.
20. bhayam śatrujanebhyaḥ ca jvarādivyāddhisambhavaḥ
jñānahāniḥ mṛteḥ bhītiḥ siṃhe svāntargate ravau
20. When the Sun (Ravi) is situated in its own internal division within the Leo (siṃha) sign, there will be fear from enemies, occurrence of fevers and other diseases, loss of knowledge, and fear of death.
धनधान्यादिलाभं च प्रसादं द्विजभूपयोः ।
विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति सिंहे स्वान्तर्गते गुरौ ॥२१॥
21. dhanadhānyādilābhaṃ ca prasādaṃ dvijabhūpayoḥ .
vidyāvṛddhimavāpnoti siṃhe svāntargate gurau.
21. dhanadhānyādilābham ca prasādam dvijabhūpayoḥ
vidyāvṛddhim avāpnoti siṃhe svāntargate gurau
21. When Jupiter (Guru) is in Leo, situated in its own division, a person obtains gains of wealth, grains, and other possessions, the favor of Brahmins and kings, and an increase in knowledge.
कन्यायां स्वांशगे सौरे कष्टं प्राप्नोति मानवः ।
द्रयाणं च ज्वरं चैव क्षुद्भवं वैक्लवं तथा ॥२२॥
22. kanyāyāṃ svāṃśage saure kaṣṭaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ .
drayāṇaṃ ca jvaraṃ caiva kṣudbhavaṃ vaiklavaṃ tathā.
22. kanyāyām svāṃśage saure kaṣṭam prāpnoti mānavaḥ
drayāṇam ca jvaram ca eva kṣudbhavam vaiklavam tathā
22. When Saturn (Śani) is in Virgo, situated in its own division, a person experiences suffering, journeys, fever, and also distress caused by hunger, and similar afflictions.
नृपप्रसादमैश्वर्यं सुहृद्बन्धुसमागमम् ।
विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति कन्यायां स्वांशके गुरौ ॥२३॥
23. nṛpaprasādamaiśvaryaṃ suhṛdbandhusamāgamam .
vidyāvṛddhimavāpnoti kanyāyāṃ svāṃśake gurau.
23. nṛpaprasādam aiśvaryam suhṛdbandhusamāgamam
vidyāvṛddhim avāpnoti kanyāyām svāṃśake gurau
23. When Jupiter (Guru) is in Virgo, situated in its own division, one obtains royal favor, opulence, the gathering of friends and relatives, and an increase in knowledge.
पित्तज्वरभवा पीडा विदेशे गमनं तथा ।
शस्त्रघातोऽग्निभीतिश्च कन्यायां स्वान्तरे कुजे ॥२४॥
24. pittajvarabhavā pīḍā videśe gamanaṃ tathā .
śastraghāto'gnibhītiśca kanyāyāṃ svāntare kuje.
24. pittajvarabhavā pīḍā videśe gamanam tathā
śastrāghātaḥ agnibhītiḥ ca kanyāyām svāntare kuje
24. When Mars (Kuja) is in Virgo, situated in its own division, there is affliction born of bilious fever, travel to foreign lands, injury from weapons, and fear of fire.
भृत्यपुत्रार्थलाभश्च नानासुखसमागमः ।
बन्धुभार्गवचन्द्रेषु कन्यास्वांशगतेषु च ॥२५॥
25. bhṛtyaputrārthalābhaśca nānāsukhasamāgamaḥ .
bandhubhārgavacandreṣu kanyāsvāṃśagateṣu ca.
25. bhṛtyaputrārthalābhaḥ ca nānāsukhasamāgamaḥ
bandhubhārgavacandreṣu kanyāsvāṃśagateṣu ca
25. When relatives, Venus, and the Moon are in the sign of Virgo and situated in their own divisions (svāṃśa), there will be gains concerning servants, sons, and wealth, along with the attainment of various kinds of happiness.
प्रयाणं रोगभीतिश्च कलहो बन्धुभिः सह ।
शस्त्रघातभयं चैव कन्यांशे स्वांशगे रवौ ॥२६॥
26. prayāṇaṃ rogabhītiśca kalaho bandhubhiḥ saha .
śastraghātabhayaṃ caiva kanyāṃśe svāṃśage ravau.
26. prayāṇaṃ rogabhītiḥ ca kalahaḥ bandhubhiḥ saha
śastraghātabhayaṃ ca eva kanyāṃśe svāṃśage ravau
26. When the Sun is in the Virgo division (aṃśa) and also in its own division (svāṃśa), there will be travel, fear of disease, conflicts with relatives, and indeed, fear of injury from weapons.
तुले स्वान्तर्गते शुक्रे सद्बुद्धिश्च सुखोदयः ।
स्त्रीपुत्रधननवस्त्रादिलाभो भवति निश्चितः ॥२७॥
27. tule svāntargate śukre sadbuddhiśca sukhodayaḥ .
strīputradhananavastrādilābho bhavati niścitaḥ.
27. tule svāntargate śukre sadbuddhiḥ ca sukhodayaḥ
strīputradhananavastrādilābhaḥ bhavati niścitaḥ
27. When Venus is in the sign of Libra and situated in its own division (svāṃśa), there will be good intellect and the dawn of happiness. It is certain that there will be gains of a wife, sons, wealth, new clothes, and so forth.
पितृकष्टं सुहृद्वैरं शिरोरोगो ज्वरोदयः ।
विषशस्त्राग्निभीतिश्च तुले स्वान्तर्गते कुजे ॥२८॥
28. pitṛkaṣṭaṃ suhṛdvairaṃ śirorogo jvarodayaḥ .
viṣaśastrāgnibhītiśca tule svāntargate kuje.
28. pitṛkaṣṭaṃ suhṛdvairaṃ śirorogaḥ jvarodayaḥ
viṣaśastrāgnibhītiḥ ca tule svāntargate kuje
28. When Mars is in the sign of Libra and situated in its own division (svāṃśa), there will be distress for the father, enmity with friends, head ailments, the onset of fever, and fear of poison, weapons, and fire.
द्रव्यरत्नादिलाभश्च धर्मकार्यं नृपादयः ।
सर्वत्र सुखसम्प्राप्तिस्तुले स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥२९॥
29. dravyaratnādilābhaśca dharmakāryaṃ nṛpādayaḥ .
sarvatra sukhasamprāptistule svāṃśagate gurau.
29. dravya-ratnādi-lābhaḥ ca dharma-kāryam nṛpa-ādayaḥ
sarvatra sukha-samprāptiḥ tule svāṃśa-gate gurau
29. When Jupiter (guru) is in its own division (svāṃśa) in the sign of Libra, there will be gains of wealth, jewels, and so forth, engagement in activities related to natural law (dharma), benefits from kings and other authorities, and the attainment of happiness everywhere.
प्रयाणं च महाव्याधिः क्षेत्रदेः क्षतिरेव च ।
शत्रुवाधा च कार्येषु तुले स्वांशगते शनौ ॥३०॥
30. prayāṇaṃ ca mahāvyādhiḥ kṣetradeḥ kṣatireva ca .
śatruvādhā ca kāryeṣu tule svāṃśagate śanau.
30. prayāṇam ca mahā-vyādhiḥ kṣetra-ādeḥ kṣatiḥ eva
ca śatru-bādhā ca kāryeṣu tule svāṃśa-gate śanau
30. When Saturn (śani) is in its own division (svāṃśa) in the sign of Libra, there will be travels, severe illness, indeed the destruction of fields and other properties, and hindrances from enemies in various activities.
पुत्रजन्म धनप्राप्तिः स्त्रीसुखं च मनःप्रियम् ।
भाग्योदयश्च विज्नेयस्तुले स्वान्तर्गते बुधे ॥३१॥
31. putrajanma dhanaprāptiḥ strīsukhaṃ ca manaḥpriyam .
bhāgyodayaśca vijneyastule svāntargate budhe.
31. putra-janma dhana-prāptiḥ strī-sukham ca manas-priyam
bhāgya-udayaḥ ca vijñeyaḥ tule sva-antar-gate budhe
31. When Mercury (budha) is in its own division (svāṃśa) in the sign of Libra, one should understand that there will be the birth of sons, acquisition of wealth, happiness from women, mental satisfaction, and the rise of good fortune.
शशाङ्कबुधशुक्रेषु वृश्चिके स्वांशगेषु च ।
नानाधान्यधनप्राप्तिर्व्याधिविनाशो महत् सुखम् ॥३२॥
32. śaśāṅkabudhaśukreṣu vṛścike svāṃśageṣu ca .
nānādhānyadhanaprāptirvyādhivināśo mahat sukham.
32. śaśāṅka-budha-śukreṣu vṛścike svāṃśa-gateṣu ca
nānā-dhānya-dhana-prāptiḥ vyādhi-vināśaḥ mahat sukham
32. When the Moon (śaśāṅka), Mercury (budha), and Venus (śukra) are in their own divisions (svāṃśa) in the sign of Scorpio, there will be the acquisition of various grains and wealth, the destruction of diseases, and great happiness.
शत्रुक्षोभभयं व्याधिमर्थनाशं पितुर्भयम् ।
श्वापदाद् भयमाप्नोति वृश्चिके स्वांशगे रवौ ॥३३॥
33. śatrukṣobhabhayaṃ vyādhimarthanāśaṃ piturbhayam .
śvāpadād bhayamāpnoti vṛścike svāṃśage ravau.
33. śatrukṣobhabhayam vyādhim arthanāśam pituḥ bhayam
| śvāpadāt bhayam āpnoti vṛścike sva aṃśage ravau
33. When the Sun is in its own varga (decanate/navamsa) within the sign of Scorpio, one experiences fear of disturbances from enemies, illness, loss of wealth, fear concerning one's father, and fear from wild animals.
वातपित्तभयं चैव मसूरीव्रणमादिशेत् ।
अग्निशस्त्रादिभीतिश्च वृश्चिके स्वांशगे कुजे ॥३४॥
34. vātapittabhayaṃ caiva masūrīvraṇamādiśet .
agniśastrādibhītiśca vṛścike svāṃśage kuje.
34. vātapittabhayam ca eva masūrīvraṇam ādiśet |
agniśastra ādi bhītiḥ ca vṛścike sva aṃśage kuje
34. One should predict fear related to vāta and pitta (humors), as well as smallpox or pustules, and fear from fire, weapons, and the like, when Mars is in its own varga (decanate/navamsa) within the sign of Scorpio.
धनं धान्यञ्च रत्नं च देवब्राह्मणपूजनम् ।
राजप्रसादमाप्नोति वृश्चिके स्वांशगे गुरौ ॥३५॥
35. dhanaṃ dhānyañca ratnaṃ ca devabrāhmaṇapūjanam .
rājaprasādamāpnoti vṛścike svāṃśage gurau.
35. dhanam dhānyam ca ratnam ca devabrāhmaṇapūjanam
| rājaprasādam āpnoti vṛścike sva aṃśage gurau
35. When Jupiter is in its own varga (decanate/navamsa) within the sign of Scorpio, one obtains wealth, grains, gems, the worship of gods and Brahmins, and royal favor.
धनबन्धुविनाशश्च जायते मानसी व्यथा ।
शत्रुवाधा महाव्याधिर्वृश्चिके स्वांशगे शनौ ॥३६॥

36. When Saturn is in its own varga (decanate/navamsa) within the sign of Scorpio, there arises loss of wealth and relatives, mental anguish, obstruction from enemies, and severe illness.
अतिदाहं ज्वरं छर्दि मुखरोगं विशेषतः ।
नानाक्लेशमवाप्नोति चापांशे स्वांशगे कुजे ॥३७॥
37. atidāhaṃ jvaraṃ chardi mukharogaṃ viśeṣataḥ .

37. When Mars (kuja) is in its own *aṃśa* (divisional part) while that *aṃśa* is in the sign of Sagittarius, the native experiences excessive burning sensation, fever, vomiting, especially mouth diseases, and various kinds of troubles.
श्रियं विद्यां च सौभाग्यं शत्रुनाशं नृपात् सुखम् ।
भार्गवेन्दुचन्द्राणां चापे स्वस्वांशके दिशेत् ॥३८॥
38. śriyaṃ vidyāṃ ca saubhāgyaṃ śatrunāśaṃ nṛpāt sukham .

38. When Venus (bhārgava) and the Moon (indu-candra) are situated in their own respective *aṃśas* within the sign of Sagittarius, one experiences prosperity, knowledge, good fortune, destruction of enemies, and happiness from the ruler.
भार्यावित्तविनाशं च कलहं च नृपाद् भयम् ।
दूरयात्रामवाप्नोति चापांशे स्वांशगे रवौ ॥३९॥
39. bhāryāvittavināśaṃ ca kalahaṃ ca nṛpād bhayam .

39. When the Sun (ravi) is in its own *aṃśa* (divisional part) while that *aṃśa* is in the sign of Sagittarius, the native experiences the destruction of the spouse's wealth, quarrels, fear from the ruler, and long journeys.
दानधर्मतपोलाभं राजपूजनमाप्नुयात् ।
भार्याविभवलाभं च चापे स्वांशगते गुरौ ॥४०॥
40. dānadharmatapolābhaṃ rājapūjanamāpnuyāt .

40. When Jupiter (guru) is in its own *aṃśa* (divisional part) while that *aṃśa* is in the sign of Sagittarius, the native may obtain benefits from charity (dāna), righteousness (dharma), and austerity (tapas), along with honor from the ruler and the acquisition of the spouse's wealth.
द्विजदेवनृपोद्भूतं कोपं बन्धुविनाशनम् ।
देशत्यागमवाप्नोति मकरस्वांशगे शनौ ॥४१॥
41. dvijadevanṛpodbhūtaṃ kopaṃ bandhuvināśanam .

भार्गवज्ञेन्दुजीवानां मृगांशेऽन्तर्दशाफलम् ॥४२॥
42. devārcanaṃ tapodhyānaṃ sammānaṃ bhūpateḥ kule .

42. The effects of the sub-periods (antardaśā) of Venus, Mercury, Moon, and Jupiter, when they are positioned in Capricorn's *aṃśa* (division), include deity worship, ascetic practices (tapas), meditation (dhyāna), and honor from a royal family.
शिरोरोगं ज्वरं चैव करपादक्षतं दिशेत् ।
रक्तपित्तातिसारांश्च मृगस्वांशगते कुजे ॥४३॥
43. śirorogaṃ jvaraṃ caiva karapādakṣataṃ diśet .

43. When Mars (Kuja) is in its own *aṃśa* (division) within Capricorn, one should predict head ailments, fever, injuries to hands and feet, and dysentery involving blood and bile (raktapitta).
विनाशं पितृबन्धूनां ज्वररोगादिकं दिशेत् ।
नृपशत्रुभयं चैव मृगांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥४४॥
44. vināśaṃ pitṛbandhūnāṃ jvararogādikaṃ diśet .
nṛpaśatrubhayaṃ caiva mṛgāṃśasvāṃśage śanau.

44. When Saturn is in its own *aṃśa* (division) within Capricorn, one should predict the destruction of paternal relatives, fever, various diseases, and fear from rulers and adversaries.
नानाविद्यार्थलाभश्च पुत्रस्त्रीमित्रजं सुखम् ।
शरीरारोग्यमैश्वर्यं कुम्भे स्वांशगते भृगौ ॥४५॥
45. nānāvidyārthalābhaśca putrastrīmitrajaṃ sukham .
śarīrārogyamaiśvaryaṃ kumbhe svāṃśagate bhṛgau.

śarīrārogyam aiśvaryam kumbhe svāṃśagate bhṛgau
45. When Venus is in Aquarius and situated in its own varga/amsa, there is the attainment of various kinds of knowledge and wealth, happiness derived from sons, wife, and friends, good bodily health, and prosperity.
ज्वराग्निचोरजा पीडा शत्रुणां च महद् भयम् ।
मनोव्यथामवाप्नोति घटांशस्वान्तरे कुजे ॥४६॥
46. jvarāgnicorajā pīḍā śatruṇāṃ ca mahad bhayam .
manovyathāmavāpnoti ghaṭāṃśasvāntare kuje.
46. jvarāgnicorajā pīḍā śatruṇām ca mahat bhayam
manovyathām avāpnoti ghaṭāṃśasvāntare kuje
46. When Mars is in its own division within the Aquarius division, one experiences pain caused by fever, fire, or thieves, great fear from enemies, and mental anguish.
नैरुज्यं च सुखं चैव सम्मानं भूपतेः द्विजात् ।
मनःप्रसादमाप्नोति कुम्भांशस्वांशगे गुरौ ॥४७॥
47. nairujyaṃ ca sukhaṃ caiva sammānaṃ bhūpateḥ dvijāt .
manaḥprasādamāpnoti kumbhāṃśasvāṃśage gurau.
47. nairujyam ca sukham ca eva sammānam bhūpateḥ dvijāt
manaḥprasādam āpnoti kumbhāṃśasvāṃśage gurau
47. When Jupiter is in its own varga/amsa within the Aquarius varga/division, one obtains freedom from illness, happiness, respect from the king, and from the twice-born (dvija), and mental tranquility.
धातुत्रयप्रकोपं च कलहं देशविभ्रमम् ।
क्षयव्याधिमवाप्नोति कुंभांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥४८॥
48. dhātutrayaprakopaṃ ca kalahaṃ deśavibhramam .
kṣayavyādhimavāpnoti kuṃbhāṃśasvāṃśage śanau.
48. dhātutrayaprakopam ca kalaham deśavibhramam
kṣayavyādhim avāpnoti kumbhāṃśasvāṃśage śanau
48. When Saturn is in its own varga/amsa within the Aquarius varga/division, one experiences aggravation of the three bodily humors, quarrels, confusion or wandering in the country, and a wasting disease.
पुत्रमित्रधनस्त्रीणां लाभं चैव मनःप्रियम् ।
सौभाग्यवृद्धिमाप्नोति कुम्भांशस्वांशगे बुधे ॥४९॥
49. putramitradhanastrīṇāṃ lābhaṃ caiva manaḥpriyam .
saubhāgyavṛddhimāpnoti kumbhāṃśasvāṃśage budhe.
49. putramitradhanastrīṇām lābham ca eva manaḥpriyam
saubhāgyavṛddhim āpnoti kumbhāṃśasvāṃśage budhe
49. When Mercury (Budha) is in its own division (aṃśa) within the sign of Aquarius, one obtains gains of sons, friends, wealth, and wives, which are indeed pleasing to the mind, and an increase in good fortune.
विद्यावृद्धिमवाप्नोति स्त्रीसुखं व्याधिनाशनम् ।
सुहृत्सङ्गं मनःप्रीतिं मीनांशस्वांशगे विधौ ॥५०॥
50. vidyāvṛddhimavāpnoti strīsukhaṃ vyādhināśanam .
suhṛtsaṅgaṃ manaḥprītiṃ mīnāṃśasvāṃśage vidhau.
50. vidyāvṛddhim avāpnoti strīsukham vyādhināśanam
suhṛtsaṅgam manaḥprītim mīnāṃśasvāṃśage vidhau
50. When the Moon (Vidhu) is in its own division (aṃśa) within the sign of Pisces, one obtains an increase in knowledge, happiness from a wife, the destruction of diseases, association with good friends, and mental delight.
बन्धुभिः कलहं चैव चौरभीतिं मनोव्यथाम् ।
स्थानभ्रंशमवाप्नोति मीनांशस्वांशगे रवौ ॥५१॥
51. bandhubhiḥ kalahaṃ caiva caurabhītiṃ manovyathām .
sthānabhraṃśamavāpnoti mīnāṃśasvāṃśage ravau.
51. bandhubhiḥ kalaham ca eva caurabhītim manovyathām
sthānabhraṃśam avāpnoti mīnāṃśasvāṃśage ravau
51. When the Sun (Ravi) is in its own division (aṃśa) within the sign of Pisces, one obtains quarrels with relatives, indeed fear of thieves, mental anguish, and loss of position.
रणे विजयमाप्नोति पशुभूमिसुतागमम् ।
धनवृद्धिश्च मीनांशे स्वांशयोर्बुधशुक्रयोः ॥५२॥
52. raṇe vijayamāpnoti paśubhūmisutāgamam .
dhanavṛddhiśca mīnāṃśe svāṃśayorbudhaśukrayoḥ.
52. raṇe vijayam āpnoti paśubhūmisutāgamam
dhanavṛddhiḥ ca mīnāṃśe svāṃśayoḥ budhaśukrayoḥ
52. When Mercury (Budha) and Venus (Śukra) are in their own divisions (aṃśa) within the sign of Pisces, one obtains victory in battle, the acquisition of cattle, land, and sons, and an increase in wealth.
पित्तरोगं विवादञ्च स्वजनैरपि मानवः ।
शत्रुणां भयमाप्नोति मीनांशस्वांशगे कुजे ॥५३॥
53. pittarogaṃ vivādañca svajanairapi mānavaḥ .
śatruṇāṃ bhayamāpnoti mīnāṃśasvāṃśage kuje.
53. pittarogaṃ vivādaṃ ca svajanaiḥ api mānavaḥ
śatruṇām bhayam āpnoti mīnāṃśa-svāṃśage kuje
53. When Mars (Kūja) is in its own Navamsa within the Pisces (Mīna) Navamsa, a person experiences bile disorders, disputes even with their own relatives, and fear from enemies.
धनवस्त्रकलत्राणां लाभो भूपसमादरः ।
प्रतिष्ठा बहुधा लोके मीनांशस्वांशगे गुरौ ॥५४॥
54. dhanavastrakalatrāṇāṃ lābho bhūpasamādaraḥ .
pratiṣṭhā bahudhā loke mīnāṃśasvāṃśage gurau.
54. dhana-vastra-kalatrāṇām lābhaḥ bhūpa-samādaraḥ
pratiṣṭhā bahudhā loke mīnāṃśa-svāṃśage gurau
54. When Jupiter (Guru) is in its own Navamsa within the Pisces (Mīna) Navamsa, one gains wealth, clothes, and a wife, receives respect from rulers, and achieves much renown in the world.
धननाशो मनस्तापो वेश्यादीनां च सङ्गमात् ।
देशत्यागो भवेद्वापि मीनांशस्वांशगे शनौ ॥५५॥
55. dhananāśo manastāpo veśyādīnāṃ ca saṅgamāt .
deśatyāgo bhavedvāpi mīnāṃśasvāṃśage śanau.
55. dhana-nāśaḥ manastāpaḥ veśyādīnām ca saṅgamāt
deśa-tyāgaḥ bhavet vā api mīnāṃśa-svāṃśage śanau
55. When Saturn (Śani) is in its own Navamsa within the Pisces (Mīna) Navamsa, there will be loss of wealth, mental distress, and association with prostitutes and similar individuals. There may also be abandonment of one's country.
एवं प्राज्ञैश्च विज्ञेयं कालचक्रदशाफलम् ।
अन्तर्दशाफलं चैव वामर्क्षेऽप्येवमेव च ॥५६॥
56. evaṃ prājñaiśca vijñeyaṃ kālacakradaśāphalam .
antardaśāphalaṃ caiva vāmarkṣe'pyevameva ca.
56. evam prājñaiḥ ca vijñeyam kāla-cakra-daśā-phalam
antardaśā-phalam ca eva vāmarkṣe api evam eva ca
56. Thus, the wise should know the results of the Kalachakra Dasha and the Antardasha results, and similarly, these (results) should be known for the reverse signs (constellations) as well.
इदं फलं मया प्रोक्तं धर्माऽधर्मकृतं पुरा ।
तत्सर्वं पाणिभिर्नित्यं प्राप्यते नाऽत्र संशयः ॥५७॥
57. idaṃ phalaṃ mayā proktaṃ dharmā'dharmakṛtaṃ purā .
tatsarvaṃ pāṇibhirnityaṃ prāpyate nā'tra saṃśayaḥ.
57. idam phalam mayā proktam dharmādharmakṛtam purā tat
sarvam pāṇibhiḥ nityam prāpyate na atra saṃśayaḥ
57. I have previously declared this result, which arises from righteous (dharma) and unrighteous (adharma) actions (karma). All of that is invariably attained through one's own efforts (pāṇibhiḥ); there is no doubt about this.
सुहृदोऽन्तर्दशा भव्या पापस्यापि द्विजोत्तम ।
शुभस्यापि रिपोश्चैवमशुभा च प्रकीर्तिता ॥५८॥
58. suhṛdo'ntardaśā bhavyā pāpasyāpi dvijottama .
śubhasyāpi ripoścaivamaśubhā ca prakīrtitā.
58. suhṛdaḥ antardaśā bhavyā pāpasya api dvijottama
śubhasya api ripoḥ ca evam aśubhā ca prakīrtitā
58. O best among the twice-born (dvijottama)! The sub-periods (antardaśā) of friendly planets are considered auspicious. Similarly, the sub-periods of benefic planets are also auspicious. However, those of malefic planets and enemies are declared inauspicious.
