पृथक् स्वस्वदशामानैर्हन्यादन्तर्दशामितिम् ।
भ्येत्सर्वदशायोगैः फलं प्रत्यन्तरं क्रमात् ॥१॥
1. pṛthak svasvadaśāmānairhanyādantardaśāmitim .

1. Separately, one should determine the duration of the sub-period (antardaśā) by means of the measures of their respective major periods (daśā). One should discern the results for each sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) in sequence, by considering all the combinations of the major periods.
विवादो वित्तहानिश्च दारार्तिः शिरसि व्यथा ।
रव्यन्तरे बुधैर्ज्ञेयं तस्य प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥२॥
2. vivādo vittahāniśca dārārtiḥ śirasi vyathā .
ravyantare budhairjñeyaṃ tasya pratyantare phalam.
2. vivādaḥ vitta-hāniḥ ca dāra-ārtiḥ śirasi vyathā
ravi antare budhaiḥ jñeyam tasya pratyantare phalam
2. Disputes, loss of wealth, distress to the spouse, and head pain - these are the results that should be known by astrologers during the Sun's sub-period (antardaśā) and its corresponding sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā).
उद्वेगः कलहश्चैव वित्तहानिर्मनोव्यथा ।
रव्यन्तरे विजानीयात् चन्द्रप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥३॥
3. udvegaḥ kalahaścaiva vittahānirmanovyathā .
ravyantare vijānīyāt candrapratyantare phalam.

3. Anxiety, disputes, loss of wealth, and mental distress - one should know these as the results during the Sun's sub-period (antardaśā) and the Moon's sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā).
राजभीतिः शस्त्रभीतिर्बन्धनं बहुसंकटम् ।
स/त्रुवह्निकृता पीडा कुजप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥४॥
4. rājabhītiḥ śastrabhītirbandhanaṃ bahusaṃkaṭam .
sa/truvahnikṛtā pīḍā kujapratyantare phalam.
4. rāja-bhītiḥ śastra-bhītiḥ bandhanam bahu-saṅkaṭam

4. During the sub-sub-period of Mars, one experiences fear from the government, fear from weapons, imprisonment, great distress, and suffering caused by enemies and fire.
श्लेष्मव्याधिः शस्त्रभीतिएधनहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
राजभङ्गस्तथा त्रासो राहुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥५॥
5. śleṣmavyādhiḥ śastrabhītiedhanahānirmahadbhayam .
rājabhaṅgastathā trāso rāhupratyantare phalam.
5. śleṣma-vyādhiḥ śastra-bhītiḥ edhana-hāniḥ mahodvegaḥ
mahā-bhayam rāja-bhaṅgaḥ tathā trāsaḥ rāhu-pratyantare phalam
5. During the sub-sub-period of Rahu, there are phlegmatic diseases, fear from weapons, loss of prosperity, great fear, disgrace from authorities, and terror.
शत्रुनाशो जयो वृद्धिर्वस्त्रहेमादिभूषणम् ।
अश्वयानादिलाभश्च गुरुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥६॥
6. śatrunāśo jayo vṛddhirvastrahemādibhūṣaṇam .
aśvayānādilābhaśca gurupratyantare phalam.
6. śatru-nāśaḥ jayaḥ vṛddhiḥ vastra-hema-ādi-bhūṣaṇam
aśva-yāna-ādi-lābhaḥ ca guru-pratyantare phalam
6. During the sub-sub-period of Jupiter (guru), one experiences the destruction of enemies, victory, prosperity, the acquisition of ornaments such as clothes and gold, and gains like horses and conveyances.
धनहानिः पशोः पीडा महोद्वेगो महारुजः ।
अशुभं सर्वमाप्नोति शनिप्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥७॥
7. dhanahāniḥ paśoḥ pīḍā mahodvego mahārujaḥ .
aśubhaṃ sarvamāpnoti śanipratyantare janaḥ.
7. dhana-hāniḥ paśoḥ pīḍā mahodvegaḥ mahā-rujaḥ
aśubham sarvam āpnoti śani-pratyantare janaḥ
7. During the sub-sub-period of Saturn (śani), a person experiences loss of wealth, suffering for their animals, great anxiety, severe illness, and generally encounters all inauspicious things.
विद्यालाभो बन्धुसङ्ग भोज्यप्राप्तिर्धनागमः ।
धर्मलाभो नृपात्पूजा बिधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥८॥
8. vidyālābho bandhusaṅga bhojyaprāptirdhanāgamaḥ .
dharmalābho nṛpātpūjā bidhapratyantare bhavet.
8. vidyā-lābhaḥ bandhu-saṅgaḥ bhojya-prāptiḥ dhanāgamaḥ
dharma-lābhaḥ nṛpāt pūjā vidhu-pratyantare bhavet
8. During the sub-sub-period of the Moon (vidhu), one experiences the acquisition of knowledge, the company of relatives, the obtainment of good food, the gain of wealth, the gain of virtue (dharma), and honor from the ruler.
प्राणभीतिर्महाहानी राजभीतिश्च विग्रहः ।
शत्रुणाञ्च महावादो केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥९॥
9. prāṇabhītirmahāhānī rājabhītiśca vigrahaḥ .
śatruṇāñca mahāvādo ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet.

9. During the sub-sub-period of Ketu, there will be fear for one's life, significant financial losses, fear from governmental authorities, disputes, and major arguments with enemies.
दिनानि समरूपाणि लाभोऽप्यल्पो भवेदिह ।
स्वल्पा च सुखसम्पत्तिः शुक्रप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥१०॥
10. dināni samarūpāṇi lābho'pyalpo bhavediha .
svalpā ca sukhasampattiḥ śukrapratyantare bhavet.
10. dināni samarūpāṇi lābhaḥ api alpaḥ bhavet iha
svalpā ca sukhasampattiḥ śukrapratyantare bhavet
10. During the sub-sub-period of Venus (Śukra), days will be uneventful or ordinary, and there will be only minor gains. Happiness and prosperity will also be minimal.
भूमोज्यधनसम्प्राप्ती राजपूजामहत्सुखम् ।
लाभश्चन्द्रान्तरे ज्ञेयं चन्द्रप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥११॥
11. bhūmojyadhanasamprāptī rājapūjāmahatsukham .
lābhaścandrāntare jñeyaṃ candrapratyantare phalam.
11. bhūmyojyadhanasampraptī rājapūjāmahatsukham lābhaḥ
ca candrāntare jñeyam candrapratyantare phalam
11. During the sub-sub-period of the Moon (Candra), there will be the acquisition of land, enjoyment, and wealth, along with great happiness from royal honors. This period is known for gains and favorable results.
मतिवृद्धिर्महापूज्यः सुखं बन्धुजनैः सह ।
धनागमः शत्रुभयं कुजप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥१२॥
12. mativṛddhirmahāpūjyaḥ sukhaṃ bandhujanaiḥ saha .
dhanāgamaḥ śatrubhayaṃ kujapratyantare bhavet.
12. mativṛddhiḥ mahāpūjyaḥ sukham bandhujanaiḥ saha
dhanāgamaḥ śatrubhayam kujapratyantare bhavet
12. During the sub-sub-period of Mars (Kuja), there will be an increase in intelligence, great respect, happiness in the company of relatives, and the acquisition of wealth. However, there will also be fear from enemies.
भवेत्कल्याणसम्पत्ती राजवित्तसमागमः ।
अशुभैरल्पमृत्युअश्च राहुप्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥१३॥
13. bhavetkalyāṇasampattī rājavittasamāgamaḥ .
aśubhairalpamṛtyuaśca rāhupratyantare dvija.
13. bhavet kalyāṇasampattī rājavittasamāgamaḥ
aśubhaiḥ alpamṛtyuḥ ca rāhupratyantare dvija
13. O twice-born (dvija), during the sub-sub-period of Rahu, there will be auspicious prosperity and the accumulation of royal wealth. However, it will also bring a minor risk of death or minor troubles caused by malefic influences.
वस्त्रलाभो महातेजो ब्रह्मज्ञानं च सद्गुरोः ।
राज्यालंकरणावाप्तिर्गुरुप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥१४॥
14. vastralābho mahātejo brahmajñānaṃ ca sadguroḥ .
rājyālaṃkaraṇāvāptirgurupratyantare phalam.
14. vastralābhaḥ mahātejaḥ brahmajñānaṃ ca sadguroḥ
rājyālaṅkaraṇāvāptiḥ gurupratyantare phalam
14. During the sub-sub-period of Jupiter (Guru), one experiences the acquisition of clothes, great splendor, knowledge of the Absolute (Brahman) from a true teacher (guru), and the attainment of a kingdom and ornaments.
दुर्दिने लभते पीडां वातपित्ताद्विशेषतः ।
धनधान्ययशोहानिः शनिप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥१५॥
15. durdine labhate pīḍāṃ vātapittādviśeṣataḥ .
dhanadhānyayaśohāniḥ śanipratyantare bhavet.
15. durdine labhate pīḍām vātapittāt viśeṣataḥ
dhanadhānyayaśohāniḥ śanipratyantare bhavet
15. During difficult times, one experiences distress, especially due to imbalances of vāta and pitta [doshas]. Loss of wealth, grains, and reputation occurs during the sub-sub-period of Saturn (Shani).
पुत्रजन्महयप्राप्तिर्विद्यालाभो महोन्नतिः ।
शुक्लवस्त्रान्नलाभश्च बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥१६॥
16. putrajanmahayaprāptirvidyālābho mahonnatiḥ .
śuklavastrānnalābhaśca budhapratyantare bhavet.
16. putrajanma hayaprāptiḥ vidyālābhaḥ mahonnatiḥ
śuklavastrānnalābhaḥ ca budhapratyantare bhavet
16. During the sub-sub-period of Mercury (Budha), there will be the birth of a son, acquisition of horses, gain of knowledge, great advancement, and the acquisition of white clothes and food.
ब्राह्मणेन समं युद्धमपमृत्युः सुखक्षयः ।
सर्वत्र जायते क्लेशः केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥१७॥
17. brāhmaṇena samaṃ yuddhamapamṛtyuḥ sukhakṣayaḥ .
sarvatra jāyate kleśaḥ ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
17. brāhmaṇena samaṃ yuddham apamṛtyuḥ sukhakṣayaḥ
sarvatra jāyate kleśaḥ ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet
17. During the sub-sub-period of Ketu, there will be conflict with Brahmins, untimely death, and a loss of happiness. Distress will arise everywhere.
धनलाभो महत्सौख्यं कन्याजन्म सुभोजनम् ।
प्रीतिश्च सर्वलोकेभ्यो भृगुप्रत्यन्तरे विधोः ॥१८॥
18. dhanalābho mahatsaukhyaṃ kanyājanma subhojanam .
prītiśca sarvalokebhyo bhṛgupratyantare vidhoḥ.
18. dhanalābhaḥ mahatsaukhyam kanyājanma subhojanam
prītiḥ ca sarvalokebhyaḥ bhṛgupratyantare vidhoḥ
18. During the sub-sub-period of Venus (Bhṛgu) within the main period of the Moon, there will be acquisition of wealth, great happiness, the birth of a daughter, delicious food, and affection from all people.
अन्नागमो वस्त्रलाभः शत्रुहानिः सुखागमः ।
सर्वत्र विजयप्राप्तिः सूर्यप्रत्यन्तरे विधोः ॥१९॥
19. annāgamo vastralābhaḥ śatruhāniḥ sukhāgamaḥ .
sarvatra vijayaprāptiḥ sūryapratyantare vidhoḥ.
19. annāgamaḥ vastralābhaḥ śatruhāniḥ sukhāgamaḥ
sarvatra vijayaprāptiḥ sūryapratyantare vidhoḥ
19. During the Moon's (vidhu) sub-sub-period within the Sun's sub-period, there will be gains of food, acquisition of clothes, destruction of enemies, and the arrival of happiness. Victory will be achieved everywhere.
शत्रुभीतिं कलिं घोरं रक्तस्रावं मृतेर्भयम् ।
कुजस्यान्तर्दशायां च कुजप्रत्यन्तरे वदेत् ॥२०॥
20. śatrubhītiṃ kaliṃ ghoraṃ raktasrāvaṃ mṛterbhayam .
kujasyāntardaśāyāṃ ca kujapratyantare vadet.
20. śatrubhītim kalim ghoram raktasrāvam mṛteḥ bhayam
kujasya antardaśāyām ca kujapratyantare vadet
20. One should state that during Mars' (kuja) sub-sub-period within Mars' own sub-period, there will be fear from enemies, dreadful strife, bleeding, and fear of death.
बन्धनं राजभङ्गश्च धनहानिः कुभोजनम् ।
कलहः शत्रुभिर्नित्यं राहुप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२१॥
21. bandhanaṃ rājabhaṅgaśca dhanahāniḥ kubhojanam .
kalahaḥ śatrubhirnityaṃ rāhupratyantare bhavet.
21. bandhanam rājabhaṅgaḥ ca dhanahāniḥ kubhojanam
kalahaḥ śatrubhiḥ nityam rāhupratyantare bhavet
21. During Rahu's sub-sub-period, there will be imprisonment, disgrace from the king or government, loss of wealth, unwholesome food, and constant quarrels with enemies.
मतिनाशस्तथा दुःखं सन्तापः कलहो भवेत् ।
विफलं चिन्तितं सर्वं गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२२॥
22. matināśastathā duḥkhaṃ santāpaḥ kalaho bhavet .
viphalaṃ cintitaṃ sarvaṃ guroḥ pratyantare bhavet.
22. matināśaḥ tathā duḥkham santāpaḥ kalahaḥ bhavet
viphalam cintitam sarvam guroḥ pratyantare bhavet
22. During Jupiter's (guru) sub-sub-period, there will be mental confusion, sorrow, anguish, and quarrels. All thoughts and efforts will become fruitless.
स्वामिनाशस्तथा पीडा धनहानिर्न्महाभयम् ।
वैकल्यं कलहस्त्रासो शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२३॥
23. svāmināśastathā pīḍā dhanahānirnmahābhayam .
vaikalyaṃ kalahastrāso śaneḥ pratyantare bhavet.
23. svāmināśaḥ tathā pīḍā dhanahāniḥ mahābhayam
vaikalyaṃ kalahaḥ trāsaḥ śaneḥ pratyantare bhavet
23. During Saturn's (śani) sub-sub-period, there will be loss of the master or husband, affliction, loss of wealth, great fear, disability, quarrels, and terror.
सर्वथा बुद्धिनाशश्च धनहानिर्ज्वरस्तनौ ।
वस्त्रान्नसुहृदां नाशो बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२४॥
24. sarvathā buddhināśaśca dhanahānirjvarastanau .
vastrānnasuhṛdāṃ nāśo budhapratyantare bhavet.
24. sarvathā buddhināśaḥ ca dhanahāniḥ jvaraḥ tanau
vastra-anna-suhṛdām nāśaḥ budha-pratyantare bhavet
24. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Budha (Mercury), there will be a complete destruction of intellect, loss of wealth, fever in the body, and the loss of clothes, food, and friends.
आलस्य च शिरःपीडा पापरोगोऽपमृत्युकृत् ।
राजभीतिः शस्त्रघातो केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२५॥
25. ālasya ca śiraḥpīḍā pāparogo'pamṛtyukṛt .
rājabhītiḥ śastraghāto ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
25. ālasya ca śiraḥpīḍā pāparogaḥ apamṛtyukṛt
rājabhītiḥ śastraghātaḥ ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet
25. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Ketu, there will be laziness, headache, evil diseases, accidental death, fear from the king/government, and wounds from weapons.
चाण्डालात्सङ्कटस्त्रासो राजशास्त्रभयं भवेत् ।
अतिसाराऽथ वमनं भृगोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२६॥
26. cāṇḍālātsaṅkaṭastrāso rājaśāstrabhayaṃ bhavet .
atisārā'tha vamanaṃ bhṛgoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
26. cāṇḍālāt saṅkaṭa-strāsaḥ rāja-śastra-bhayam bhavet
atisāraḥ atha vamanaṃ bhṛgoḥ pratyantare bhavet
26. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Bhṛgu (Venus), there will be danger and fear from outcasts, fear from royal power/decrees and weapons, dysentery, and vomiting.
भूमिलाभोऽर्थसम्पत्तिः सन्तोषो मित्रसङ्गतिः ।
सर्वत्र सुखमाप्नोति रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥२७॥
27. bhūmilābho'rthasampattiḥ santoṣo mitrasaṅgatiḥ .
sarvatra sukhamāpnoti raveḥ pratyantare janaḥ.
27. bhūmilābhaḥ arthasampattiḥ santoṣaḥ mitrasaṅgatiḥ
sarvatra sukham āpnoti raveḥ pratyantare janaḥ
27. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Ravi (Sun), a person obtains gain of land, acquisition of wealth, contentment, association with friends, and happiness everywhere.
याम्यां दिशि भवेल्लाभः सितवस्त्रविभूषणम् ।
संसिद्धिः सर्वकार्याणां विधोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥२८॥
28. yāmyāṃ diśi bhavellābhaḥ sitavastravibhūṣaṇam .
saṃsiddhiḥ sarvakāryāṇāṃ vidhoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
28. yāmyām diśi bhavet lābhaḥ sitavastravibhūṣaṇam
saṃsiddhiḥ sarvakāryāṇām vidhoḥ pratyantare bhavet
28. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Vidhu (Moon), there will be gains in the southern direction, white clothes and ornaments, and the complete accomplishment of all undertakings.
बन्धनं बहुधा रोगो बहुघातः सुहृद्भयम् ।
राह्वन्तर्दशायां च ज्ञेयं राह्वन्तरे फलम् ॥२९॥
29. bandhanaṃ bahudhā rogo bahughātaḥ suhṛdbhayam .
rāhvantardaśāyāṃ ca jñeyaṃ rāhvantare phalam.
29. bandhanam bahudhā rogaḥ bahughātaḥ suhṛdbhayam
rāhvantardaśāyām ca jñeyam rāhvantare phalam
29. During the sub-period (antardaśā) of Rāhu, and similarly, during its inner-sub-period (pratyantardaśā), one should expect results such as various forms of confinement, diseases, significant injuries, and fear from friends.
सर्वत्र लभते मानं गजाश्वं च धनागमम् ।
राहोरन्तर्दशायां च गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥३०॥
30. sarvatra labhate mānaṃ gajāśvaṃ ca dhanāgamam .
rāhorantardaśāyāṃ ca guroḥ pratyantare janaḥ.
30. sarvatra labhate mānam gajāśvam ca dhanāgamam
rāhoḥ antardaśāyām ca guroḥ pratyantare janaḥ
30. Everywhere, a person (jana) gains honor, elephants and horses, and an inflow of wealth. This occurs specifically during the sub-period (antardaśā) of Rāhu and the inner-sub-period (pratyantara) of Jupiter (guru).
बन्धनं जायते घोरं सुखहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
प्रत्यहं वातपीडा च शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३१॥
31. bandhanaṃ jāyate ghoraṃ sukhahānirmahadbhayam .
pratyahaṃ vātapīḍā ca śaneḥ pratyantare bhavet.
31. bandhanam jāyate ghoram sukhahāniḥ mahadbhayām
pratyaham vātapīḍā ca śaneḥ pratyantare bhavet
31. In the inner-sub-period (pratyantara) of Saturn (śani), terrible confinement (bandhana) occurs, along with loss of happiness, great fear, and daily afflictions from vāta (vātapīḍā) disorders.
सर्वत्र बहुधा लाभः स्त्रीसङ्गाच्च विशेषतः ।
परदेशभवा सिद्धिर्बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३२॥
32. sarvatra bahudhā lābhaḥ strīsaṅgācca viśeṣataḥ .
paradeśabhavā siddhirbudhapratyantare bhavet.
32. sarvatra bahudhā lābhaḥ strīsaṅgāt ca viśeṣataḥ
paradeśabhavā siddhiḥ budhapratyantare bhavet
32. In the inner-sub-period (pratyantara) of Mercury (budha), there will be manifold gains everywhere, especially through associations with women, and success will arise from foreign lands.
बुद्धिनाशो भयं विघ्नो धनहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
सर्वत्र कलहोद्वेगौ केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥३३॥
33. buddhināśo bhayaṃ vighno dhanahānirmahadbhayam .
sarvatra kalahodvegau ketoḥ pratyantare phalam.
33. buddhināśaḥ bhayam vighnaḥ dhanahāniḥ mahadbhayām
sarvatra kalahodvegau ketoḥ pratyantare phalam
33. During the inner-sub-period (pratyantara) of Ketu, there will be mental confusion, fear, obstacles, financial loss, great apprehension, and general quarrels and anxieties everywhere. These are the results.
योगिनीभ्यो भयं भूयादश्वहानिः कुभोजनम् ।
स्त्रीनाशः कुलजं शोकं शुक्रप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३४॥
34. yoginībhyo bhayaṃ bhūyādaśvahāniḥ kubhojanam .
strīnāśaḥ kulajaṃ śokaṃ śukrapratyantare bhavet.
34. yoginībhyo bhayam bhūyāt aśvahāniḥ kubhojanam
strīnāśaḥ kulajam śokam śukrapratyantare bhavet
34. In the "pratyantara" (sub-sub-period) of Venus (śukra), there may be fear from yoginis, loss of horses, bad food, loss of wife, and family-related grief.
ज्वररोगो महाभीतिः पुत्रपौत्रादिपीडनम् ।
अल्पमृत्युः प्रमादश्च रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३५॥
35. jvararogo mahābhītiḥ putrapautrādipīḍanam .
alpamṛtyuḥ pramādaśca raveḥ pratyantare bhavet.
35. jvararogaḥ mahābhītiḥ putrapautrādipīḍanam
alpamṛtyuḥ pramādaḥ ca raveḥ pratyantare bhavet
35. In the "pratyantara" (sub-sub-period) of the Sun (ravi), there will be fever, great fear, affliction of sons and grandsons, untimely death, and misfortune.
उद्वेगकलहो चिन्ता मानहानिर्महद्भयम् ।
पितुर्विकलता देहे विद्योः रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३६॥

36. Agitation, quarrels, worry, loss of honor, great fear, physical distress to the father, and difficulties from learned persons occur in the "pratyantara" (sub-sub-period) of the Sun (ravi).
भगन्दरकृता पीडा रक्तपित्तप्रपीडनम् ।
अर्थहानिर्महोद्वेगः कुजप्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥३७॥
37. bhagandarakṛtā pīḍā raktapittaprapīḍanam .

37. In the "pratyantara" (sub-sub-period) of Mars (kuja), the results are affliction caused by fistula, severe suffering from blood-bile diseases, loss of wealth, and great agitation.
हेमलाभो धान्यवृद्धि कल्याणं सुफलोदयः ।
गुरोरन्तर्दशायां च भवेद् गुर्वन्तरे फलम् ॥३८॥
38. hemalābho dhānyavṛddhi kalyāṇaṃ suphalodayaḥ .
gurorantardaśāyāṃ ca bhaved gurvantare phalam.

38. Gain of gold, increase in grains or wealth, well-being, and the emergence of good results occur in the "antardaśā" (sub-period) of Jupiter (guru); these very results also manifest in the "pratyantara" (sub-sub-period) of Jupiter (guru) [within its own "antardaśā"].
गोभूमिहयलाभः स्यात्सर्वत्र सुखसाधनम् ।
संग्रहो ह्यन्नपानादेः शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥३९॥
39. gobhūmihayalābhaḥ syātsarvatra sukhasādhanam .
saṃgraho hyannapānādeḥ śaneḥ pratyantare bhavet.

39. During the sub-sub-period of Saturn (Śani), there will be gains of cows, land, and horses, which lead to happiness everywhere. Indeed, there will also be an accumulation of food, drink, and other provisions.
विद्यालाभो वस्त्रलाभो ज्ञानलाभः समौक्तिकः ।
सुहृदां सङ्गमः स्नेहो बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥४०॥
40. vidyālābho vastralābho jñānalābhaḥ samauktikaḥ .
suhṛdāṃ saṅgamaḥ sneho budhapratyantare bhavet.

40. During the sub-sub-period of Mercury (Budha), there will be gains of learning, gains of clothes, and gains of knowledge, along with pearls. There will also be the association and affection of friends.
जलभीतिस्तथा चौर्यं बन्धनं कलहो भवेत् ।
अपमृत्युर्भयं घोरं केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥४१॥
41. jalabhītistathā cauryaṃ bandhanaṃ kalaho bhavet .
apamṛtyurbhayaṃ ghoraṃ ketoḥ pratyantare dvija.

41. O twice-born (dvija)! During the sub-sub-period of Ketu, there will be fear of water, theft, imprisonment, quarrels, unnatural death, and dreadful fear.
नानाविद्यार्थसम्प्राप्तिर्हेमवस्त्रविभूषणम् ।
लभते क्षेमसन्तोषं भृगोः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥४२॥
42. nānāvidyārthasamprāptirhemavastravibhūṣaṇam .
labhate kṣemasantoṣaṃ bhṛgoḥ pratyantare janaḥ.

42. During the sub-sub-period of Venus (Bhṛgu), a person obtains the acquisition of various kinds of learning and wealth, along with gold, clothes, and ornaments. They also achieve welfare and contentment.
नृपाल्लाभस्तथा मित्रात्पितृतो मातृतोऽपि वा ।
सर्वत्र लभते पूजां रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥४३॥
43. nṛpāllābhastathā mitrātpitṛto mātṛto'pi vā .
sarvatra labhate pūjāṃ raveḥ pratyantare janaḥ.
43. nṛpāt lābhaḥ tathā mitrāt pitṛtaḥ mātṛtaḥ api vā
sarvatra labhate pūjām raveḥ pratyantare janaḥ
43. During the sub-sub-period of the Sun (Ravi), a person obtains gains from the king, from a friend, or from the father, or even from the mother. They receive honor everywhere.
सर्वदुःखविमोक्षश्च मुक्तलाभो हयस्य च ।
सिद्ध्यन्ति सर्वकार्याणि विधो प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥४४॥
44. sarvaduḥkhavimokṣaśca muktalābho hayasya ca .
siddhyanti sarvakāryāṇi vidho pratyantare dvija.

44. O Brahmin, during the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of the Moon, there is complete freedom from all suffering, the attainment of liberation (mokṣa), and the acquisition of horses. All undertakings are accomplished.
शस्त्रभीतिर्गदे पीडा वह्निमाद्द्यमजीर्णता ।
पीडा शत्रुकृता भूरिर्भौमप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥४५॥
45. śastrabhītirgade pīḍā vahnimāddyamajīrṇatā .

45. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Mars (Bhauma), there will be fear of weapons, suffering from illness, problems related to fire or intoxication, indigestion, and significant distress caused by enemies.
चाण्डालेन विरधः स्याद्भयं तेभ्यो धनक्षतिः ।
कष्टं जीवान्तरे ज्ञेयं राहोः प्रत्यन्तरे ध्रुवम् ॥४६॥
46. cāṇḍālena viradhaḥ syādbhayaṃ tebhyo dhanakṣatiḥ .
kaṣṭaṃ jīvāntare jñeyaṃ rāhoḥ pratyantare dhruvam.

46. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Rahu, one will certainly experience harm or opposition from outcastes, fear from them, and loss of wealth. It should be known that distress will occur during this period of life.
देहपीडा कलेर्भीतिर्भयमन्त्यजलोकतः ।
दुःखं शन्यन्तरे नाना शनेः प्र्त्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥४७॥
47. dehapīḍā kalerbhītirbhayamantyajalokataḥ .
duḥkhaṃ śanyantare nānā śaneḥ prtyantare bhavet.

47. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Saturn (Śani), there will be bodily suffering, fear of conflict or the age of Kali, and fear from outcastes. Various kinds of distress may occur.
बुद्धिनाशः कलेर्भीतिरन्नपानादिहानिकृत् ।
धन्हानिर्भयं शत्रोः सनेः प्रत्यन्तरे बुधे ॥४८॥
48. buddhināśaḥ kalerbhītirannapānādihānikṛt .

48. O learned one, during the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Saturn (Śani), there is a loss of intellect, fear of conflict or the age of Kali, and a reduction in food, drink, and other necessities. There is also a loss of wealth and fear from enemies.
बन्धः शत्रोर्गृहे जातो वर्णहानिर्बहुक्षुधा ।
चित्ते चिन्ता भयं त्रासः केतो प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥४९॥
49. bandhaḥ śatrorgṛhe jāto varṇahānirbahukṣudhā .
citte cintā bhayaṃ trāsaḥ keto pratyantare bhavet.

49. During Ketu's sub-period (pratyantara), there will be imprisonment by enemies, loss of social standing, and intense hunger. The mind will be filled with anxiety, fear, and dread.
चिन्तितं फलितं वस्तु कल्याणं स्वजने सदा ।
मनुष्यकृतितो लाभः भृगिः प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥५०॥
50. cintitaṃ phalitaṃ vastu kalyāṇaṃ svajane sadā .
manuṣyakṛtito lābhaḥ bhṛgiḥ pratyantare dvija.

50. O twice-born (dvija), during Venus's sub-period (pratyantara), one's desires will be fulfilled, and there will always be prosperity among one's own relatives. Gains will come through human effort.
राजतेजोऽधिकारित्वं स्वगृहे जायते कलिः ।
ज्वरादिव्याधिपीडा च रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥५१॥
51. rājatejo'dhikāritvaṃ svagṛhe jāyate kaliḥ .

51. During the Sun's sub-period (pratyantara), one will experience royal splendor and authority, but there will be domestic strife in one's own home. Additionally, suffering from fevers and other ailments will occur.
स्फीतबुद्धिर्महारम्भो मन्दतेजा बहुव्ययः ।
बहुस्त्रीभिः समं भोगो विधोः प्रत्यन्तरे शनौ ॥५२॥
52. sphītabuddhirmahārambho mandatejā bahuvyayaḥ .
bahustrībhiḥ samaṃ bhogo vidhoḥ pratyantare śanau.

52. During the Moon's sub-period (pratyantara), when Saturn is influential, there is sharp intellect and grand initiatives, yet also diminished vitality and much expenditure. There is also enjoyment with many women.
तेजोहानि पुत्रघातो वह्निभीती रिपोर्भयम् ।
वातपित्तकृता पीडा कुजप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥५३॥
53. tejohāni putraghāto vahnibhītī riporbhayam .

53. During Mars's sub-period (pratyantara), there will be a loss of vitality, harm to children, fear of fire, and fear from enemies. Additionally, afflictions caused by imbalances of Vāta and Pitta doshas will occur.
धननाशो वस्त्रहानिर्भूमिनाशो भयं भवेत् ।
विदेशगमनं मृत्युः राहो प्रत्यन्तरे शनौ ॥५४॥
54. dhananāśo vastrahānirbhūmināśo bhayaṃ bhavet .
videśagamanaṃ mṛtyuḥ rāho pratyantare śanau.

54. During the sub-sub-period of Saturn (śani) in the sub-period of Rahu (rāhu), there would be loss of wealth, loss of clothes, loss of land, fear, foreign travel, and death.
गृहेषु स्वीकृतं छिद्रं ह्यसमर्थो निरीक्षणे ।
अथ वा कलिमुद्वेगं गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे वदेत् ॥५५॥
55. gṛheṣu svīkṛtaṃ chidraṃ hyasamartho nirīkṣaṇe .
atha vā kalimudvegaṃ guroḥ pratyantare vadet.

55. During the sub-sub-period of Jupiter (guru), one should predict an admitted fault in the home and an inability in supervision, or alternatively, discord and agitation.
बुद्धिर्विद्यार्थलाभो वा वस्त्रलाभो महत्सुखम् ।
बुधास्यान्तर्दशायाञ्च बुधप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥५६॥
56. buddhirvidyārthalābho vā vastralābho mahatsukham .

56. Intelligence, gain of knowledge or wealth, gain of clothes, and great happiness would occur during the sub-period of Mercury (budha) and in the sub-sub-period of Mercury (budha).
कठिनान्नस्य सम्प्राप्तिरुदरे रोगसम्भवः ।
कामलं रक्तपित्तं च केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥५७॥
57. kaṭhinānnasya samprāptirudare rogasambhavaḥ .
kāmalaṃ raktapittaṃ ca ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet.

57. During the sub-sub-period of Ketu (ketu), there would be the acquisition of difficult-to-digest food, the possibility of stomach diseases, jaundice, and bleeding disorders.
उत्तरस्यां भवेल्लाभो हानिः स्यात्तु चतुष्पदात् ।
अधिकारो नृपागारे भृगोः प्र्त्यनतरे भवेत् ॥५८॥
58. uttarasyāṃ bhavellābho hāniḥ syāttu catuṣpadāt .
adhikāro nṛpāgāre bhṛgoḥ prtyanatare bhavet.

adhikāraḥ nṛpāgāre bhṛgoḥ pratyantare bhavet
58. During the sub-sub-period of Venus (bhṛgu), there would be gain from the northern direction, but there would be loss from quadrupeds, and authority in the royal court (or government).
तेजोहानिर्भवेद्रोगस्तनुपीडा यदा कदा ।
जायते चित्तवैकल्यं रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे बुधे ॥५९॥
59. tejohānirbhavedrogastanupīḍā yadā kadā .
jāyate cittavaikalyaṃ raveḥ pratyantare budhe.
59. tejo-hāniḥ bhavet rogaḥ tanu-pīḍā yadā kadā
jāyate citta-vaikalyaṃ raveḥ pratyantare budhe
59. When Mercury (budha) is the major planetary period (daśā) lord, and the sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) is of the Sun (ravi), there will be a loss of vitality, disease, and occasional bodily suffering. Mental distress also arises.
स्त्रीलाभश्चार्थसम्पत्तिः कन्यालाभो महद्धनम् ।
लभते सर्वतः सौख्यं विधोः प्र्त्यन्तरे जनः ॥६०॥
60. strīlābhaścārthasampattiḥ kanyālābho mahaddhanam .
labhate sarvataḥ saukhyaṃ vidhoḥ prtyantare janaḥ.
60. strī-lābhaḥ ca artha-sampattiḥ kanyā-lābhaḥ mahat dhanam
labhate sarvataḥ saukhyaṃ vidhoḥ pratyantare janaḥ
60. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) of the Moon (vidhu), a person obtains a wife, acquires wealth, gains a daughter, and receives great riches. They experience happiness from all sides.
धर्मधीधनसम्प्राप्तिश्चौराग्न्यादिप्रपीडनम् ।
रक्तवस्त्रं शस्त्रघातं भौमप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६१॥
61. dharmadhīdhanasamprāptiścaurāgnyādiprapīḍanam .
raktavastraṃ śastraghātaṃ bhaumapratyantare bhavet.
61. dharma-dhī-dhana-samprāptiḥ ca caurāgnyādi-prapīḍanam
rakta-vastraṃ śastra-ghātaṃ bhauma-pratyantare bhavet
61. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) of Mars (bhauma), there is acquisition of righteousness (dharma), wisdom, and wealth. However, there is also affliction from thieves, fire, and similar dangers, along with the acquisition of red garments and injury by weapons.
कलहो जायते स्त्रीभिरकस्माद्भयसम्भवः ।
राजशस्त्राकृता भीतिः राहिः प्र्त्यन्तरे द्विज ॥६२॥
62. kalaho jāyate strībhirakasmādbhayasambhavaḥ .
rājaśastrākṛtā bhītiḥ rāhiḥ prtyantare dvija.
62. kalahaḥ jāyate strībhiḥ akasmāt bhaya-sambhavaḥ
rāja-śastra-ākṛtā bhītiḥ rāhuḥ pratyantare dvija
62. O twice-born (dvija), during the sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) of Rahu, quarrels arise with women. There is also the unexpected occurrence of fear, and apprehension caused by kings or rulers and weapons.
राज्यं राज्याधिकारो वा पूजा राजसमुद्भवा ।
विद्याबुद्धिसमृद्धिश्च गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६३॥
63. rājyaṃ rājyādhikāro vā pūjā rājasamudbhavā .
vidyābuddhisamṛddhiśca guroḥ pratyantare bhavet.
63. rājyaṃ rājya-adhikāraḥ vā pūjā rāja-samudbhavā
vidyā-buddhi-samṛddhiḥ ca guroḥ pratyantare bhavet
63. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantardaśā) of Jupiter (guru), a kingdom, royal authority, or honor from rulers may be obtained. Prosperity in learning and intellect (buddhi) also occurs.
वातपित्तमहापीडा देहघातसमुद्भवा ।
धननाशमवाप्नोति शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥६४॥
64. vātapittamahāpīḍā dehaghātasamudbhavā .
dhananāśamavāpnoti śaneḥ pratyantare janaḥ.

64. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Saturn (Śani), a person experiences severe afflictions (mahāpīḍā) caused by imbalances of vāta and pitta, leading to bodily harm and the loss of wealth.
आपत्समुद्भवोऽकस्माद्देशन्तरसमागमः ।
केत्वन्तरेऽर्थहानिश्च केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६५॥
65. āpatsamudbhavo'kasmāddeśantarasamāgamaḥ .
ketvantare'rthahāniśca ketoḥ pratyantare bhavet.

65. During the sub-period (antara) of Ketu, there is a sudden rise of calamities and association with foreign lands. Furthermore, loss of wealth occurs during the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Ketu.
म्लेच्छभीरर्थनाशो वा नेत्ररोगः शिरोव्यथा ।
हानिश्चतुष्पदानां च भृगोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६६॥
66. mlecchabhīrarthanāśo vā netrarogaḥ śirovyathā .
hāniścatuṣpadānāṃ ca bhṛgoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
66. mlecchabhīḥ arthanāśaḥ vā netrarogaḥ śirovyathā
hāniḥ catuṣpadānām ca bhṛgoḥ pratyantare bhavet
66. Fear from barbarians (mlecchas), or loss of wealth, eye disease, headache, and loss of quadrupeds (such as cattle) occur during the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of Venus (Bhṛgu).
मित्रैः सह विरोधश्च स्वल्पमृत्युः पराजयः ।
मतिभ्रंशो विवादश्च रवेः प्र्त्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६७॥
67. mitraiḥ saha virodhaśca svalpamṛtyuḥ parājayaḥ .
matibhraṃśo vivādaśca raveḥ prtyantare bhavet.

67. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of the Sun (Ravi), there will be conflict with friends, danger of death, defeat, mental confusion, and disputes.
अन्ननाशो यशोहानिर्देहपीडा मतिभ्रमः ।
आमवातादिवृद्धिश्चविधोः प्र्त्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६८॥
68. annanāśo yaśohānirdehapīḍā matibhramaḥ .
āmavātādivṛddhiścavidhoḥ prtyantare bhavet.

68. During the sub-sub-period (pratyantara) of the Moon (Vidhu), there will be loss of food, loss of fame, bodily suffering, mental confusion, and an increase in ailments like rheumatism (āmavāta).
शस्त्रघातेन पातेन पीडितो वह्निपीडया ।
नीचाद्भीती रिपोः शङ्का कुजप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥६९॥
69. śastraghātena pātena pīḍito vahnipīḍayā .

69. During the sub-sub-period of Mars (Ku ja), there will be affliction from weapon wounds, falls, and fire. There will be fear from base people and apprehension from enemies.
कामिनीभ्यो भयं भूयात्तथा वैरिसमुद्भवः ।
क्षुद्रादपि भवेद्भीती राहोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥७०॥
70. kāminībhyo bhayaṃ bhūyāttathā vairisamudbhavaḥ .
kṣudrādapi bhavedbhītī rāhoḥ pratyantare bhavet.

70. During the sub-sub-period of Rahu, there will be fear from women, and similarly, trouble arising from enemies. Fear will also arise even from petty individuals.
धनहानिर्महोत्पातो स/स्त्रमित्रविनाशनम् ।
सर्वत्र लभते क्लेशं गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥७१॥
71. dhanahānirmahotpāto sa/stramitravināśanam .
sarvatra labhate kleśaṃ guroḥ pratyantare phalam.
71. dhanahāniḥ mahotpātaḥ sva-strī-mitra-vināśanam
sarvatra labhate kleśam guroḥ pratyantare phalam
71. During the sub-sub-period of Jupiter (Guru), there will be a loss of wealth, great calamities, and the destruction of one's wife and friends. One experiences distress in all matters.
गोमहिष्यादिमरणं देहपीडा सुहृद्वधः ।
स्वल्पाल्पलाभकरणं शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥७२॥
72. gomahiṣyādimaraṇaṃ dehapīḍā suhṛdvadhaḥ .
svalpālpalābhakaraṇaṃ śaneḥ pratyantare phalam.
72. go-mahiṣy-ādi-maraṇam deha-pīḍā suhṛd-vadhaḥ
svalpālpalābhakaraṇam śaneḥ pratyantare phalam
72. During the sub-sub-period of Saturn (Śani), the results will include the death of cows, buffaloes, and other animals, bodily affliction, and the loss of friends. One will achieve only meager profits.
बुद्धिनाशो महोद्वेगो विद्याहानिर्महाभयम् ।
कार्यसिद्धिर्न जायते ज्ञस्य प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥७३॥
73. buddhināśo mahodvego vidyāhānirmahābhayam .
kāryasiddhirna jāyate jñasya pratyantare phalam.
73. buddhināśaḥ mahodvegaḥ vidyāhāniḥ mahābhayam
kāryasiddhiḥ na jāyate jñasya pratyantare phalam
73. During the sub-sub-period of Mercury (Jña), there will be a loss of intellect, great agitation, loss of knowledge, and intense fear. Success in undertakings does not occur.
श्वेताश्ववस्त्रमुक्ताद्यं दिव्यस्त्रीजङ्गजं सुखम् ।
लभते शुक्रन्तरे प्राप्ते शुक्रप्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥७४॥
74. śvetāśvavastramuktādyaṃ divyastrījaṅgajaṃ sukham .
labhate śukrantare prāpte śukrapratyantare janaḥ.
74. śvetāśva-vastra-mukta-ādyam divya-strī-jaṅgajam sukham
labhate śukra-antare prāpte śukra-pratyantare janaḥ
74. A person (jana) obtains happiness (sukham) relating to divine women and movable possessions, and also pleasures like white horses, clothes, pearls, etc., when the sub-period (antarā) and sub-sub-period (pratyantarā) of Venus (Śukra) arrive.
वातज्वरः शिरःपीडा राज्ञः पीडा रिपोरपि ।
जायते स्वल्पलाभोऽपि रवेः प्रत्यन्तरे फलम् ॥७५॥
75. vātajvaraḥ śiraḥpīḍā rājñaḥ pīḍā riporapi .
jāyate svalpalābho'pi raveḥ pratyantare phalam.
75. vāta-jvaraḥ śiraḥ-pīḍā rājñaḥ pīḍā ripoḥ api
jāyate svalpa-lābhaḥ api raveḥ pratyantare phalam
75. Fever caused by wind (vāta) imbalance, headaches, trouble from the king/government, and also from enemies arise. Even a small gain may occur. These are the results (phala) in the sub-sub-period (pratyantarā) of the Sun (Ravi).
कन्याजन्म नृपाल्लाभो वस्त्राभरणसंयुतः ।
राज्याधिकारसम्प्राप्तिः चन्द्रप्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥७६॥
76. kanyājanma nṛpāllābho vastrābharaṇasaṃyutaḥ .
rājyādhikārasamprāptiḥ candrapratyantare bhavet.
76. kanyā-janma nṛpāt lābhaḥ vastra-ābharaṇa-saṃyutaḥ
rājya-adhikāra-samprāptiḥ candra-pratyantare bhavet
76. The birth of a daughter, gains from the king/government accompanied by clothes and ornaments, and the acquisition of royal authority may occur during the sub-sub-period (pratyantarā) of the Moon (Candra).
रक्तपित्तादिरोगश्च कलहस्ताडनं भवेत् ।
महान्क्लेशो भवेदत कुजप्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥७७॥
77. raktapittādirogaśca kalahastāḍanaṃ bhavet .
mahānkleśo bhavedata kujapratyantare dvija.
77. rakta-pitta-ādi-rogaḥ ca kalaha-tāḍanam bhavet
mahān kleśaḥ bhavet atra kuja-pratyantare dvija
77. Diseases such as blood-bile disorders, quarrels, and beatings may occur. Great distress may also arise during the sub-sub-period (pratyantarā) of Mars (Kuja), O twice-born (dvija).
कलहो जायते स्त्रीभिरकस्माद्भयसम्भवः ।
राजतः शत्रुतः पीडा राहोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥७८॥
78. kalaho jāyate strībhirakasmādbhayasambhavaḥ .
rājataḥ śatrutaḥ pīḍā rāhoḥ pratyantare bhavet.
78. kalahaḥ jāyate strībhiḥ akasmāt bhaya-sambhavaḥ
rājataḥ śatrutaḥ pīḍā rāhoḥ pratyantare bhavet
78. Quarrels arise with women, and there is an unexpected occurrence of fear. Trouble from the king/government and from enemies may occur during the sub-sub-period (pratyantarā) of Rāhu.
महद्द्रव्यं महद्राज्यं वस्त्र्मुक्तादिभूषणम् ।
गजाश्वादिपदप्राप्तिः गुरोः प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥७९॥
79. mahaddravyaṃ mahadrājyaṃ vastrmuktādibhūṣaṇam .
gajāśvādipadaprāptiḥ guroḥ pratyantare bhavet.
79. mahat dravyam mahat rājyam vastra-muktā-ādi-bhūṣaṇam
gaja-aśva-ādi-pada-prāptiḥ guroḥ pratyantare bhavet
79. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Guru (Jupiter), one may acquire great wealth, a significant kingdom, ornaments like clothes and pearls, and positions involving elephants, horses, and the like.
खरोष्ट्रछागसम्प्राप्तिर्लोहमाषतिलादिकम् ।
लभते स्वल्पपीडादि शनेः प्रत्यन्तरे जनः ॥८०॥
80. kharoṣṭrachāgasamprāptirlohamāṣatilādikam .
labhate svalpapīḍādi śaneḥ pratyantare janaḥ.
80. khara-uṣṭra-chāga-samprāptiḥ loha-māṣa-tila-ādikam
labhate svalpa-pīḍā-ādi śaneḥ pratyantare janaḥ
80. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Śani (Saturn), a person (jana) obtains donkeys, camels, and goats, as well as iron, black gram, sesame, and other such things. They also experience minor troubles and the like.
धनज्ञानमहल्लाभो राजराज्यादिकारिता ।
निक्षेपाद्धनलाभोऽपि ज्ञस्य प्रत्यन्तरे भवेत् ॥८१॥
81. dhanajñānamahallābho rājarājyādikāritā .
nikṣepāddhanalābho'pi jñasya pratyantare bhavet.
81. dhana-jñāna-mahat-lābhaḥ rāja-rājya-ādi-kāritā
nikṣepāt dhana-lābhaḥ api jñasya pratyantare bhavet
81. In the sub-period (pratyantara) of Jña (Mercury), there will be a great gain of wealth and knowledge, administrative power over kings and kingdoms, and also acquisition of wealth from deposits.
अपमृत्युभयं ज्ञेयं देशाद्देशान्तरागमः ।
लाभोऽपि जायते मध्ये केतोः प्रत्यन्तरे द्विज ॥८२॥
82. apamṛtyubhayaṃ jñeyaṃ deśāddeśāntarāgamaḥ .
lābho'pi jāyate madhye ketoḥ pratyantare dvija.
82. apamṛtyu-bhayam jñeyam deśāt deśa-antara-āgamaḥ
lābhaḥ api jāyate madhye ketoḥ pratyantare dvija
82. O Brahmin (dvija), in the sub-period (pratyantara) of Ketu, one should know that there is fear of unnatural death, migration from one country to another, and also gain in the middle of the period.
