25. atha ataḥ sampravakṣyāmi śṛṇuṣva munipuṅgava
janmalagnaṃ ca saṃśodhya niṣekaṃ pariśodhayet
25. Now, therefore, I shall explain thoroughly; listen, O chief among sages (munipuṅgava). One should first correct (saṃśodhya) the birth ascendant (janmalagna) and then rectify the moment of conception (niṣeka).
26. tadahaṃ sampravakṣyāmi maitreya tvaṃ vidhāraya .
janmalagnāt parijñānaṃ niṣekaṃ sarvjantu yat.
26. tad aham sampravakṣyāmi maitreya tvam vidhāraya
janmalagnāt parijñānam niṣekam sarvajantu yat
26. Therefore, O Maitreya, I will now fully explain this to you; please grasp it well. This concerns the knowledge of conception for all living beings, derived from the natal ascendant.

27. yasmin bhāve sthitaḥ mandaḥ tasya māndeḥ yat antaram
lagnabhāgyāntaram yojyam yat ca rāśyādi jāyate
27. In whichever house Saturn (manda) is situated, the difference between that house and its māndi point should be added to the difference between the ascendant and the fortunepoint (bhāgya). The resulting sign (rāśyādi) and other divisions should then be noted.
28. māsādi tanmitaṃ jñeyaṃ janmataḥ prak niṣekajam .

28. māsādi tatmitam jñeyam janmataḥ prāk niṣekajam
yadi adṛśyadale iṅgeśaḥ tad indoḥ bhuktabhāgayuk
28. That resulting measure (rāśyādi) should be understood as the duration, in months and other divisions, from conception until birth. If the lord of the conception ascendant (iṅgeśa) is located in the invisible half of the zodiac, then the traversed degrees of the Moon (indoḥ) should be included in the calculation.
29. tatkāle sādhayellagnaṃ śodhayet pūrvavattanum .

29. tatkāle sādhayet lagnam śodhāyet pūrvavat tanum
tasmāt śubhāśubham vācyam garbhasthasya viśeṣataḥ
29. At that very time (of conception), one should ascertain the ascendant and rectify it as previously instructed. Therefore, based on this rectified ascendant, one should predict the auspicious and inauspicious (results), especially for the child in the womb.
30. śubhāśubhaṃ vadet pitrorjīvanaṃ maraṇaṃ tathā .
evaṃ niṣekalagnena samyag jñeyaṃ svakalpanāt.
30. śubhāśubham vadet pitroḥ jīvanam maraṇam tathā
evam niṣekalagnena samyak jñeyam svakalpanāt
30. One should predict the auspicious and inauspicious results, as well as the life and death of the parents. Thus, by utilizing the conception ascendant, all these matters should be properly understood through one's own astrological reasoning.
