लाभभावफलञ्चाथ कथयामि द्विजोत्तम ।
श्रूयतां जातको लोके यच्छुभत्वे सदा सुखी ॥१॥

Now, O best among the twice-born (dvijottama), I will speak of the results pertaining to the house of gain (lābha-bhāva). Listen! The native (jātaka) in the world, when auspicious conditions (śubhatva) prevail, is always happy.
लाभाधिपो यदा लाभे तिष्टेत् केन्द्रत्रिकोणयोः ।
बहुलाभं तदा कुर्यादुच्चे सूर्यांशगोऽपि वा ॥२॥
बहुलाभं तदा कुर्यादुच्चे सूर्यांशगोऽपि वा ॥२॥
2. lābhādhipo yadā lābhe tiṣṭet kendratrikoṇayoḥ .
bahulābhaṃ tadā kuryāducce sūryāṃśago'pi vā.

When the lord of the house of gain (lābha-adhipa) is situated in the house of gain, or in an angular house (kendra) or a trinal house (trikona), then the native will achieve much gain (bahulābha). This also applies if that lord is exalted (ucca) or is in a division (aṃśa) ruled by the Sun (sūryāṃśa-ga).
लाभेशे धनराशिस्थे धनेशे केन्द्रसंस्थिते ।
गुरुणा सहिते भावे गुरुलाभं विनिर्दिशेत् ॥३॥

When the lord of the 11th house (lābha-īśa) is situated in the 2nd house (dhana-rāśi), and the lord of the 2nd house (dhana-īśa) is situated in an angular house (kendra-saṃsthita), and if Jupiter (guru) is associated with that house (bhāva), then it indicates significant gains (gurulābha).

If the lord of the eleventh house (gains) is situated in the third house (valor) and is associated with auspicious planets, then in the thirty-sixth year, the native will enjoy two thousand niṣkas (units of wealth).
केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे लाभनाथे शुभसमन्विते ।
चत्वारिंशे तु सम्प्राप्ते सहस्रार्धसुनिष्कभाक् ॥५॥

If the lord of the eleventh house (gains) is situated in a kendra (angular) or trikoṇa (trine) house and is associated with auspicious planets, then upon reaching the fortieth year, the native will enjoy five hundred good niṣkas (units of wealth).

भाग्यस्थानगते शुक्रे षट्सहस्राधिपो भवेत् ॥६॥

If Jupiter is in the eleventh house (gains), the Moon is associated with the second house (wealth), and Venus is situated in the ninth house (fortune), the native will become the owner of six thousand (units of wealth).

If Jupiter is situated in the eleventh house (gains) and is conjoined with Mercury and the Moon, then the native becomes the lord of wealth and grain, prosperous, and endowed with jewels and other ornaments.

If the lord of the eleventh house (gains) is situated in the first house (ascendant), and the lord of the ascendant is conjoined with the eleventh house, then upon reaching the thirty-third year, the native will enjoy a thousand niṣkas (units of wealth).

When the lord of the house of wealth (2nd house) is located in the house of gains (11th house), and the lord of the house of gains (11th house) moves into the house of wealth (2nd house), one should predict great fortune after marriage.
भ्रातृपे लाभराशिस्थे लाभेशे भ्रातृसंस्थिते ।
भ्रातृभावाद्धनप्राप्तिदिव्याभरणसंयुतः ॥१०॥

When the lord of brothers (3rd house) is situated in the house of gains (11th house), and the lord of gains (11th house) is situated in the house of brothers (3rd house), there will be acquisition of wealth from brothers, along with divine ornaments.
लाभेशे नीचभेऽस्ते वा त्रिके पापसमन्विते ।
कृते भूरिप्रयत्नेऽपि नैव लाभः कदाचन ॥११॥

When the lord of gains (11th house) is in a debilitated sign, or in the 7th house, or in a trika house (6th, 8th, or 12th) and is associated with malefic planets, then even with much effort, there will never be any gain.
