मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-10, verse-82

तत्राङ्गारचयोपेतं कृतञ्च धरणीसमम् ।
जाज्वल्यमानस्तीव्रेण तापिताङ्गारभूमिना ॥८२॥
82. tatrāṅgāracayopetaṃ kṛtañca dharaṇīsamam .

82. There, it is formed, covered with heaps of embers and made level with the ground. It blazes intensely due to its surface of heated coals.
