मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-10, verse-14

इति पित्रा सुतस्नेहात् प्रलोभि मधुराक्षरम् ।
स चोद्यमानो बहुशः प्रहस्येदमथाब्रवीत् ॥१४॥
14. iti pitrā sutasnehāt pralobhi madhurākṣaram .
sa codyamāno bahuśaḥ prahasyedamathābravīt.

14. Thus, coaxed with sweet words by his father, out of affection for his son, and repeatedly urged, he smiled and then said this.
