मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-10, verse-11

ततो गार्हस्थ्यमास्थाय चेष्ट्वा यज्ञाननुत्तमान् ।
इष्टमुत्पादयापत्यमाश्रयेथा वनं ततः ॥११॥
11. tato gārhasthyamāsthāya ceṣṭvā yajñānanuttamān .
iṣṭamutpādayāpatyamāśrayethā vanaṃ tataḥ.
11. tataḥ gārhasthyam āsthāya ca iṣṭvā yajñān anuttamān
iṣṭam utpādaya apatyam āśrayethāḥ vanaṃ tataḥ
11. Thereafter, having entered the householder (gārhasthya) stage of life and performed excellent sacrifices (yajñas), you should beget desired progeny. Then, you should resort to the forest (for the vānaprastha stage).
