कलेवरे दह्यमाने महान्तं दाहमृच्छति ।
ताड्यमाने तथैवार्ति छिद्यमाने च दारुणाम् ॥७०॥

70. kalevare dahyamāne mahāntaṃ dāhamṛcchati .

As the body is being burnt, he experiences intense burning (dāha). Similarly, he suffers pain (ārti) when it is beaten, and dreadful pain when it is cut.
