दुःस्थे चन्द्रे बलैर्युक्ते क्वचिल्लाभं क्वचित्सुखम् ।
देहजाड्यं क्वचिच्चैव शान्त्या तत्र शुभं दिशेत् ॥२६॥

26.
When the Moon (candra) is unfavorably placed yet endowed with strength, it causes distress to the mother, mental anguish, bodily sluggishness, and mental pain. Sometimes, there is gain and happiness, while at other times, bodily sluggishness persists. In such a case, auspicious outcomes should be indicated through propitiation (śānti).
