महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-86

कथमेवंविधं मे स्यादन्यत्पार्श्वमिति द्विजाः ।
तपोवनानि यज्ञांश्च हृष्टोऽभ्येमि पुनः पुनः ॥८६॥
86. kathamevaṁvidhaṁ me syādanyatpārśvamiti dvijāḥ ,
tapovanāni yajñāṁśca hṛṣṭo'bhyemi punaḥ punaḥ.
86. katham evamvidham me syāt anyat pārśvam iti dvijāḥ
tapovanāni yajñān ca hṛṣṭaḥ abhyemi punaḥ punaḥ
86. O brahmins (dvija), wondering 'how could my other side become like this?' I joyfully approach forest hermitages and perform Vedic rituals (yajña) again and again.
