महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-25

ऋतुर्मातुः पितुर्बीजं दैवतं परमं पतिः ।
भर्तुः प्रसादात्स्त्रीणां वै रतिः पुत्रफलं तथा ॥२५॥
25. ṛturmātuḥ piturbījaṁ daivataṁ paramaṁ patiḥ ,
bhartuḥ prasādātstrīṇāṁ vai ratiḥ putraphalaṁ tathā.

bhartuḥ prasādāt strīṇām vai ratiḥ putraphalam tathā

25. The fertile period is from the mother, the seed from the father; the husband is the supreme deity. Indeed, for women, happiness and the fruit of sons are attained through the grace of the husband.
