महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-63

श्रद्धया परया यस्त्वं तपश्चरसि सुव्रत ।
तस्माद्देवास्तवानेन प्रीता द्विजवरोत्तम ॥६३॥
63. śraddhayā parayā yastvaṁ tapaścarasi suvrata ,
tasmāddevāstavānena prītā dvijavarottama.

tasmāt devāḥ tava anena prītāḥ dvijavarottama

63. O virtuous one, because you perform austerity (tapas) with supreme faith (śraddhā), therefore, the gods are pleased by this of yours, O best among the excellent twice-born (dvija).
