महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-55

इत्युक्त्वा तानुपादाय सक्तून्प्रादाद्द्विजातये ।
ततस्तुष्टोऽभवद्विप्रस्तस्य साधोर्महात्मनः ॥५५॥
55. ityuktvā tānupādāya saktūnprādāddvijātaye ,
tatastuṣṭo'bhavadviprastasya sādhormahātmanaḥ.
55. iti uktvā tān upādāya saktūn prādāt dvijātaye
tataḥ tuṣṭaḥ abhavat vipraḥ tasya sādhoḥ mahātmanaḥ
55. iti uktvā tān saktūn upādāya dvijātaye prādāt
tataḥ vipraḥ tasya sādhoḥ mahātmanaḥ tuṣṭaḥ abhavat
55. Having spoken thus, and having accepted that barley flour, he (the father-in-law) offered it (to be consumed) as a brahmin. Thereupon, the brahmin (father-in-law) became pleased with that virtuous, great-souled person (the daughter-in-law).
