महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-36

जीर्णेन वयसा पुत्र न मा क्षुद्बाधतेऽपि च ।
दीर्घकालं तपस्तप्तं न मे मरणतो भयम् ॥३६॥
36. jīrṇena vayasā putra na mā kṣudbādhate'pi ca ,
dīrghakālaṁ tapastaptaṁ na me maraṇato bhayam.
36. jīrṇena vayasā putra na mā kṣut bādhate api ca
dīrghakālam tapas taptam na me maraṇataḥ bhayam
36. putra jīrṇena vayasā mā kṣut api na bādhate
dīrghakālam tapas taptam me maraṇataḥ na bhayam
36. Son, even with this old age, hunger does not trouble me. I have performed austerities (tapas) for a long time, therefore I have no fear of death.
