महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-93, verse-30

पुत्र उवाच ।
सक्तूनिमान्प्रगृह्य त्वं देहि विप्राय सत्तम ।
इत्येवं सुकृतं मन्ये तस्मादेतत्करोम्यहम् ॥३०॥

30. putra uvāca ,
saktūnimānpragṛhya tvaṁ dehi viprāya sattama ,
ityevaṁ sukṛtaṁ manye tasmādetatkaromyaham.

sattama iti evam sukṛtam manye tasmāt etat karomi aham

30. The son said: "O best among the good (sattama) father, you should take this barley meal and give it to the brahmin. I consider this to be a good deed, and therefore I will do it."
