महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-94, verse-80

इत्युक्तः पुनरेवाथ तं दाशः प्रत्यभाषत ।
चिकीर्षुर्दुष्करं कर्म राज्यार्थे भरतर्षभ ॥८०॥
80. ityuktaḥ punarevātha taṁ dāśaḥ pratyabhāṣata ,
cikīrṣurduṣkaraṁ karma rājyārthe bharatarṣabha.
80. iti uktaḥ punaḥ eva atha tam dāśaḥ prati abhāṣata
cikīrṣuḥ duṣkaram karma rājyārthe bharatarṣabha
80. Having been addressed thus, Daśa then again replied to him, O best of Bhāratas, as he intended to perform a difficult task for the sake of the kingdom.
