महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-94, verse-11

स देवराजसदृशो धर्मज्ञः सत्यवागृजुः ।
दानधर्मतपोयोगाच्छ्रिया परमया युतः ॥११॥
11. sa devarājasadṛśo dharmajñaḥ satyavāgṛjuḥ ,
dānadharmatapoyogācchriyā paramayā yutaḥ.

dānadharmatapaḥ yogāt śriyā paramayā yutaḥ
11. He was equal to the king of gods, a knower of dharma, truthful in speech, and upright. He was endowed with supreme prosperity through the practice of dāna (charity), dharma, and tapas.
