महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-94, verse-73

असितो ह्यपि देवर्षिः प्रत्याख्यातः पुरा मया ।
सत्यवत्या भृशं ह्यर्थी स आसीदृषिसत्तमः ॥७३॥
73. asito hyapi devarṣiḥ pratyākhyātaḥ purā mayā ,
satyavatyā bhṛśaṁ hyarthī sa āsīdṛṣisattamaḥ.
73. asitaḥ hi api devarṣiḥ pratyākhyātaḥ purā mayā
satyavatyā bhṛśam hi arthī saḥ āsīt ṛṣisattamaḥ
73. Indeed, even the divine sage Asita, the best among sages, who was very desirous of Satyavati, was previously rejected by me.
