तस्मै स कुरुमुख्याय यथावत्परिपृच्छते ।
वरं शशंस कन्यां तामुद्दिश्य भरतर्षभ ॥६६॥

66. tasmai sa kurumukhyāya yathāvatparipṛcchate ,
varaṁ śaśaṁsa kanyāṁ tāmuddiśya bharatarṣabha.

66. tasmai saḥ kurmukhyāya yathāvat paripṛcchate
varam śaśaṃsa kanyām tām uddiśya bharatarṣabha

66. To that chief among the Kurus, who inquired properly, he (the minister) related the proposal concerning that girl, O best of Bharatas.
