महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-94, verse-47

स च तं प्रत्युवाचेदं दाशराजो महीपतिम् ।
जातमात्रैव मे देया वराय वरवर्णिनी ।
हृदि कामस्तु मे कश्चित्तं निबोध जनेश्वर ॥४७॥
47. sa ca taṁ pratyuvācedaṁ dāśarājo mahīpatim ,
jātamātraiva me deyā varāya varavarṇinī ,
hṛdi kāmastu me kaścittaṁ nibodha janeśvara.
47. saḥ ca tam prati uvāca idam dāśarājaḥ
mahīpatim jātamātrā eva me
deyā varāya varavarṇinī hṛdi kāmaḥ
tu me kaścit tam nibodha janeśvara
47. And the king of fishermen replied this to the king: "This beautiful maiden, though of humble birth, should be given by me to a suitor. However, a certain desire is in my heart; O Lord of men, understand that!"
