पौरवः स्वपुरं गत्वा पुरंदरपुरोपमम् ।
सर्वकामसमृद्धार्थं मेने आत्मानमात्मना ।
पौरवेषु ततः पुत्रं यौवराज्येऽभ्यषेचयत् ॥३८॥

38. pauravaḥ svapuraṁ gatvā puraṁdarapuropamam ,

38. The Paurava king, having returned to his own city, which resembled the city of Indra, considered himself, through his own efforts, to have fulfilled all his desires. Thereafter, among his people, he consecrated his son as the crown prince.
