महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-94, verse-43

तामपृच्छत्स दृष्ट्वैव कन्यामसितलोचनाम् ।
कस्य त्वमसि का चासि किं च भीरु चिकीर्षसि ॥४३॥
43. tāmapṛcchatsa dṛṣṭvaiva kanyāmasitalocanām ,
kasya tvamasi kā cāsi kiṁ ca bhīru cikīrṣasi.
43. tām apṛcchat saḥ dṛṣṭvā eva kanyām asitalocanām
kasya tvam asi kā ca asi kim ca bhīru cikīrṣasi
43. Seeing that dark-eyed maiden, he immediately asked her, "Whose are you? And who are you? And what do you, timid one, wish to do?"
