योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-7

शब्दसंवेदनाच्छब्दः शब्दस्य भ्रान्तिदर्शनम् ।
ततोऽत्र शब्दशब्दार्थदृष्टेर्दूरतरं गतः ॥ ७ ॥
śabdasaṃvedanācchabdaḥ śabdasya bhrāntidarśanam ,
tato'tra śabdaśabdārthadṛṣṭerdūrataraṃ gataḥ 7
7. śabda-saṃvedanāt śabdaḥ śabdasya bhrānti-darśanam
tataḥ atra śabda-śabdārtha-dṛṣṭeḥ dūrataram gataḥ
7. śabda-saṃvedanāt śabdaḥ śabdasya bhrānti-darśanam
tataḥ atra śabda-śabdārtha-dṛṣṭeḥ dūrataram gataḥ
7. A word (śabda) emerges from the sensation of a word. The very perception of a word is a deluded vision. For this reason, one has here gone far beyond the perception of words and their meanings.
