चिदणुर्दृश्यसिद्ध्यर्थमान्तरीं चिच्चमत्कृतिम् ।
बहीरूपतया धत्ते स्वात्मनि परिसंस्थिताम् ॥ ५९ ॥

59. The individual consciousness (cid-aṇu), for the purpose of manifesting the perceptible world, assumes its inner wondrous display of consciousness (cit-camatkṛti) as an external form, even though that display is completely situated within its own self (ātman).
