अहो नु परमार्थोक्तिः पावनी तव मन्त्रिणः ।
राजा राजीवपत्राक्ष इदानीमेव भाषताम् ॥ १ ॥

rākṣasyuvāca ,
aho nu paramārthoktiḥ pāvanī tava mantriṇaḥ ,
rājā rājīvapatrākṣa idānīmeva bhāṣatām 1
