वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-10, verse-55

भ्रातरं संस्कृतं भ्राता ततस्तं मेषरूपिणम् ।
तान्द्विजान्भोजयामास श्राद्धदृष्टेन कर्मणा ॥५५॥
55. bhrātaraṃ saṃskṛtaṃ bhrātā tatastaṃ meṣarūpiṇam ,
tāndvijānbhojayāmāsa śrāddhadṛṣṭena karmaṇā.

tān dvijān bhojayāmāsa śrāddhadṛṣṭena karmaṇā
55. tataḥ bhrātā śrāddhadṛṣṭena karmaṇā tam saṃskṛtam

55. Then, the (first) brother fed those Brahmins his other brother, who had been transformed into a ram and cooked, as part of the ritual (karma) prescribed for a śrāddha (ancestral ritual).
