ततः प्रव्यथिताः सर्वे देवाः साग्निपुरोगमाः ।
अब्रुवन् वचनं सर्वे परस्पर समागताः ।
अस्मकं कस्य चित् स्थानमेष प्रार्थयते मुनिः ॥१३॥

13. tataḥ pravyathitāḥ sarve devāḥ sāgnipurogamāḥ ,
abruvan vacanaṃ sarve paraspara samāgatāḥ ,
asmakaṃ kasya cit sthānameṣa prārthayate muniḥ.

13. Then, all the gods, greatly troubled and with Agni at their forefront, assembled and spoke these words to each other: 'This sage is aspiring to take the abode of one of us.'
