मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-50, verse-89

स्थालीपिधाने यत्राग्निर्दत्तो दर्वोफलेन वा ।
गृहे तत्र दुरिष्टानामशेषाणां समाश्रयः ॥८९॥
89. sthālīpidhāne yatrāgnirdatto darvophalena vā .
gṛhe tatra duriṣṭānāmaśeṣāṇāṃ samāśrayaḥ.

vā gṛhe tatra duriṣṭānām aśeṣāṇām samāśrayaḥ
89. Wherever fire is placed on a pot-lid, or with a spoon-handle, that house becomes a complete refuge for all evil spirits.
